This is how they comfort you when you're sad.

MacCready
He'll notice when you're down, and tell you to come help him out with something. That something is usually with Duncan, but being with your husband and kid can cheer you up in a second!

Hancock
He panics when people start crying, so he'll usually just lay in your lap, and poke you. You'll kiss him and he'll joke about something, and that usually makes you laugh.

Nick
He isn't human, so he isn't sure about coping mechanisms. He'll usually make you some of your favorite food, and tell you to go lie down.

Deacon
He'll lay on top of you, and once he know you're feeling just a tad bit better, he'll try his best to make you laugh or smile.

X6-88
He gives you space. He understands that the human mind is complex, so he'll back off until you tell him you want a hug, then he tries his best to satisfy.

Preston
When you're sad, Preston is sad. If you're crying, it breaks his heart and he'll sometimes end up crying right with you. You two will gush about your feelings together, and that makes it all better.

Sturges
Whenever Sturges is upset, he does something physical, whether it's working out or fixing something. He doesn't know what other people do, and once, he saw you crying and just held out a wrench, saying he could use a skilled hand in his workshop.

Gage
Gage doesn't know what to do when you're sad. He'll usually just stare at you like a deer in headlights. When you're upset, though, he usually blames himself.

Travis
What you feel, Travis feels. If you're mad, he's mad. If you're sad, he's sad. You two usually just hug each other and sob like babies until you're better.

Danse
He knows that work gets his mind off of things, so he'll politely ask you to go out on a mission with him. Spending time with him makes you happy, so you usually say yes.

Maxson
He'll usually just offer you alcohol. It makes him forget what he was upset about in the first place, so he figures it might do the same for you.

Codsworth
He's still trying to understand feeling, so he'll ask you what upset you, and the two of you end up talking through it. You get it off your chest, and it helps him better understand you.

Butch
When you're upset, it sends Butch into a spiral of distress. He'll offer you things and when you ask for a hug, he'll hold you until you're alright again.

Gob
Gob understands what's troubling you most of the time, so he'll tell you to go lay down on the couch. Then he'll make you some food and turn on the radio, doing his best to calm you down.

Charon
Charon likes when you're upset, but not when your sad. He has an issue with handling emotions, especially if they're not his own. He'll usually just ask you to come in his sleeping bag with him, and he'll make you feel safe.

Arcade
He mentally shuts down, and goes into Mother Hen mode. He'll give you a teddy bear and a blanket, then he'll take you to your room and cuddle you until you feel like you're okay again.

Boone
Boone is usually detached and cold, but when you start crying, his attention is immediately turned to you, and he does everything that he can to make you happy, which usually involves fucking up whoever hurt you.

Raul
He'll sweet talk you and one of his many talents is assuring you that everything will be okay. He'll wrap an arm around you and say it'll all turn out alright, and he hasn't been wrong.

Benny
Benny gets super uncomfortable when people are sad around him, because as far as he knows, sex heals all. Still, he'll try his best to be an open ear and let you rant to him endlessly.

Swank
He'll get all handsy. He'll wrap an arm around you or play with your fingers or hug you or lay on you or something. The contact helps some.

Dean
Dean will pour you both a single shot, then he'll just look at you patiently, waiting for you to unload your troubles onto him, and let him take care of it as best he can.

Yes Man
He'll fix you some of your favorite food, snag a book, and lay with you. He'll read to you if you ask, but for the most part, cuddling fixes everything.

Victor
He'll just sort of sit there and wait for the storm to pass. If it's not serious, he'll do nothing, but if he knows something heavier is going on, he'll pull you aside for a cigar and a one-on-one talk.

Ten of Spades
He'll excuse himself from work so that all he focuses on is you. He'll hold your hand, and the two of you will walk around together, talking about whatever was necessary to get it off you chest.

Vulpes
He'll offer to set up an arena match for you, so you can blow off some steam. It usually helps, but sometimes it will make you more angry or more sad, and at that point, he'll send you to bed for the night so you can calm down.

Joshua
At the start of your relationship, he tried reading you scripture. After finding out it didn't help, he let the tribals come in, and their innocence and level of caring usually breaks away your walls.

Follows-Chalk
He'll do whatever makes him happy. He'll light a candle for you, or make you tea or any other drink you like, and he'll just sit with you until you're okay. Sometimes he'll tell you stuff that he thinks about to cheer himself up.

Ulysses
You two have all the time in the world, so Ulysses will just sit with his legs crossed at the ankle, and listen to whatever it is you have to say. He's usually very good at giving advice and feedback when necessary.

Dr. O
He'll ask you to cuddle him. He likes being cuddled and you like the warmth.'it gives your mind peace and a moment to rest,

Dr. Klein
He gives you space. You don't know if that's kind or selfish. He gives you space to figure things out and get back on your feet, but he's also overwhelmed with work. Still, if you ask, he'll listen to you.

Dr. Mobius
It took him a while to figure out how to handle you when you were upset, but he adapted quickly, and now, can have you feeling alright in a matter of minutes.
