Preference #25

This one will be your reaction when he has a bad dream.

MacCready
His bad dreams are always about Lucy, or his friends back at Little Lamplight. They're never about Duncan, because he has hope in Duncan, while he lost hope in Lucy and his home. He'll wake up without waking you, and go catch his breath outside. You usually wake anyways and go stand under the stars with him until he's ready to go back to bed.

Hancock
Hancock's worst dreams are the ones about himself. He feels he's made too many wrong choices, and that they'll come back and haunt him. In his dreams, they do. You'll just hug his head to your chest.

Nick
Nick doesn't sleep, but is always having flashes of the other Nick's life. They aren't scary, but rather a reminder of what he isn't. He wakes up and works on an old case to get his mind off of it. You'll wake up and stand over him, chest to back.

Deacon
Deacon refuses to tell you what his bad dreams are about, but from his midnight mumblings, they're about you. You'll just hug him and tell him you're with him as long as he'll have you.

X6-88
He doesn't sleep, so he doesn't have nightmares. He does, however, have flashes of when Institute scientists experimented on (tortured) him until he was the perfect soldier. You usually just gripped his hand and told him you wouldn't let that happen again.

Preston
Preston has absolutely horrifying dreams about what would have happened if you hadn't come to Concord. It is traumatizing to him, but you just say what matters is that you showed up in time, and that you loved him.

Sturges
Sturges has bad dreams about his old friends in Quincy. He hates to admit it, but when you woke up to your big strong man crying, you knew something was seriously wrong, so you kissed him and calmed him down before asking what was the matter.

Gage
He has nightmares about his old boss and his eye issues. He'll wake up in a cold sweat and go grab a beer before coming back to bed. Seeing as he doesn't drink, you know it's bad.

Travis
Travis has learned to cope with is nightmares, so he doesn't give them any mind anymore. He always wakes up in a cold sweat and with shaky hands. You actually got him some medication from Doctor Sun so he could sleep easily.

Danse
Danse has awful memories during sleep. Memories of Cutler and Krieg. He hates them with every fiber of his being, and can see they're dying faces at night. You'll squeeze him and tell him you care too much about him to go and get killed.

Maxson
He gets bad dreams about the future of the Brotherhood, and sometimes nightmares of a successful Institute. He knows the Brotherhood is unbeatable, though, so he doesn't bother you and just let's it roll off his shoulder.

Codsworth
He lived through the bombs dropping. He saw people die in numerous, horrid ways. That's what his nightmares are usually about, and you're always there to wrap an arm around him and tell him that bombs will never drops again.

Butch
Butch has bad dreams about two things: Radroaches, and his family issues. It's mostly about his poor drunk mother and absent father, and he's woken up sobbing on more than one occasion.

Gob
He has bad dreams about Carol and everyone else in the Underworld. He hasn't seen them in a while, and is worried about how they're doing. You'll tell him the two of you will go visit sometime, and that usually calms him down.

Charon
Charon 'sleep-functions' and whatnot, and one time he had a bad dream that the two of you were under attack, and nearly shot your head off! You didn't let him sleep with a gun under his pillow since. Besides that, he has nightmares about the people who made him how he is. He says the dreams indecipherable, and that that makes them worse.

Arcade
Arcade has bad dreams about his dad and old friends from the Enclave. It's nothing serious, and extremely rare, but you waking up to see him hugging his knees and quivering broke your heart.

Boone
He has bad dreams about... what else? His wife, of course. Mostly about the scenario playing out again, but with you. After a nightmare, he wakes up and tries to do something to clear his head.

Raul
His nightmares are always about his family. He usually wakes up, and just silently stares at the ceiling with his heart aching. You hardly wake up when he has a nightmare, but when you do, you reassure him that everything is alright, and that his family is smiling down on him.

Benny
He has bad dreams about the Courier coming back to kill him or get revenge and whatnot. He wouldn't admit it at first. You had to remind him that he shot the Courier, and then you shot them again, just to be safe. You even buried the mailman! He still wakes up in a cold sweat. He'd lean against the backboard of your bed and smoke to settle his nerves.

Swank
He didn't have the greatest childhood, and he never opens up to you about it, but you're certain that it's what his nightmares are about. He hardly has any at all, but he'll usually wake up, down a shot or three, then go back to sleep. Sometimes you'll do so with him.

Dean
Dean has nightmares about the bombs dropping. He hates to say it, but the bombs dropping and killing everyone he cared for was absolutely traumatizing for him, and he dreams about it nearly every night before drinking the thoughts away.

Yes Man
He has bad dreams about Hoover Dam. He dreams about what could have gone wrong or what could have gone better. You pull him into a hug.

Victor
He has bad dreams, but he never knows what they're about. He forgets as soon as he wakes up, and all he knows is that it really shook him to his core, and that he wishes the nightmares would stop.

Ten of Spades
His nightmares are always about what happened with Corporal Betsy. It's a long, heavy chunk of guilt that he carries around, and he'll wake up silently and gently move closer to you for comfort.

Vulpes
His nightmares are always about his family. They were all brutally murdered, and he was young and accepted into the Legion. He doesn't regret joining, he just wishes he wasn't an orphan. He has nightmares, and will usually go to the arena to let off steam.

Joshua
His dreams aren't of being pitched over the Grand Canyon. They're about his people, the New Canaanites, being wiped out. The scene replays itself in his mind, and he sometimes wakes up struggling to catch his breath.

Follows-Chalk
He has bad dreams about one of the White Legs attacks, in which his parents and sister were murdered. He actually has nightmares about it a lot, and he'll always wake you up in tears, and ask you to hold him.

Ulysses
He has nightmares about what happened to his home. He wakes up and will go stand somewhere where he can just take a second to catch his breath. He looks to you, and remembers that there's still good in his life, and that usually makes him feel better.

Dr. O
He has nightmares about the attack that happened, which injured him and 8 pretty badly. It doesn't really effect him, but he'll still jolt awake every now and then.

Dr. Klein
He doesn't really have bad dreams, but on he rare occasion that he does, he never remembers them by the time that morning comes. He'll jolt awake, then go talk to a bottle of whiskey before going back to sleep.

Dr. Mobius
He's usually high when he goes to sleep, so his brain is still active. He has a lot of nightmares, and usually sobers out by the time they wake him. He never remembers them, and told you that it was probably better for everyone that way.
