Drift couldn't believe it. Realistically speaking, he couldn't at all. He looked at the small human with surprise, "I take shame that I have underestimated you." He said, seeing the human patiently waiting for his next words. "You have... astound me."

The boy then grinned widely to his words, "I give my thanks for master drift."

And, while the two interact. Two undeniably jealous optics watched from the distance. Who they are the most obvious.

"Brother, let us go train over there." Said slipstream, cutting his gaze to them, and putting a servo to his brother as the latter frowned and silently followed after him, letting a fleeting glance and seeing the male looking at them before he childishly huffed and turned away.

Wilfred, the male human, furrowed his eyebrows and sadly watched them walked away. He didn't looked up at drift for he'll surely know that he's having trouble on communicating to his other two minicons. He watched them, and saw Jetstorm gave him a glance before swiftly looking away with a huff.

He desperately stopped the tears from coming out. Since he's really sensitive and a soft hearted person, he gets easily hurt to actions like these. Wilfred slowly bowed his head and clenched his fists, all the while having the autobot observe his reaction.

Every since then, the two minicons would only come to drift if, Wilfred isn't there, and if he is? They'll just go to another place they could train themselves without drift.

Wilfred sat down on the ground, slowly putting down his wooden katana beside him, and puffing a long breath. He warily opened his mouth and tried to speak, but, as always, no words came out. No matter how much he wanted to shout for the minicons to return and stopped them. He couldn't.

That's when the alarm resounded to the base. Everyone became alert, and the minicons returned to their master's side, thankfully, the male human drift always fuss about wasn't there, and they stayed beside drift with smiles.

Wilfred was on his storage room, having countless of trophies and medals of gold. First place, on all the things he have done but never mind that! He shook his head, and tenderly held the weapon he invented for dire situations like these.

It's a little heavy, but it'll surely use his capabilities. It was a katana, a truly sharped one and just in case his enemy was far, he also added a gun specially attached to the point of the katana that's why it's a little heavy for a body frame of a stealthy person.

"Autobots! We meet again!" Chirped the sly voice of Steeljaw, his tail moving behind him as he walked and his ears twitching when he heard a sound to his left and swerved to his right, just to avoid a shot from bumblebee from behind.

Bumblebee frowned, "why are you here, Steeljaw?"

"Ah, my friend. I'm merely here to collect minicons for Shadow Raker." Purred Steeljaw, his optics moving to the minicons that was all to ready to fight back, a fierce look to their faceplates. "And, such valiant determination, I see why he would want them." A smirk slowly crept on his lips. "Everyone, attack!"

From all sides, everyone appeared and picked each of their opponent. Drift being busy with fracture, bumblebee with Steeljaw, Sideswipe with Thunderhoof and Grimlock with Strongarm teaming up against underbite. While Fracture's minicons were released and immediately battled the other minicon.

Wilfred looked at the minicons, observing them for a moment before he ran and go to where fix it is, seeing his distant cousin Russel and Danny to be also there.

Russel was quick to run on his side, "you got a plan to help the autobots?"

Wilfred didn't answered him, and instead stand beside fix it as he started to rapidly tap the keys and did something to amplify and precisely target the outsiders with a much more stronger blasts. Then, he ran back and has his eyes widen in shock when he saw slipstream and Jetstorm pinned by the other minicons. He furrowed his eyebrow and raise his katana, aiming and shooting a clear aim to each and one of them, causing them to fall and angrily turn to him.

Momentarily forgetting what they originally came for, he first to run up to him was Airazor, which he quickly disabled by creating distance and swiftly knocking his helm then bending on his knees as he heard a giggle from Divebomb. Wilfred narrowed his eyes, and glared at the minicon, successfully provoking him as he screeched and stretched his claws to scratch him.

Yet, he will undoubtedly fail. Because he was already ready for that.

He caught the claws in the middle of his katana, holding her sword with both hands and fighting for dominance but when he knew he was losing. He speedily knocked Divebomb out of balance by tripping with his sword with his body lowered so that it successfully evaded his claws.

"Retreat!"

The decepticons couldn't truly handle the constant firing of the guns to them and the distracting autobots that didn't help their situation but did help on being a distraction.

Drift looked around and saw his minicons uninjured, that rushed to his other student's side, Wilfred. He let a small minuscule smile appear on his faceplate with his optics unnoticeably softening yet that only happpened in a glance.

"You're a human! Why would you risk your life to protect us? We," Jetstorm's voice lowered in shame, casting his optics down in shame. "We were mean to you."

Slipstream pursed his lips and kneeled down, seeing the human shaking in fear. He sighed lightly, "what brother meant to say is, we are grateful that you helped u—!"

The two were engulfed into a tight hug, their weapons clattering to the ground as the two were obviously schooled and stayed still as the human hugged them tight. And before they knew it, his shoulders were shaking in fear whilst the two felt liquid dripping down to their chassis.

"Are... you crying?"

Jetstorm attempted to make Wilfred raised his helm to look at him but with after many attempts, the mech reluctantly gave up and reassuringly patted his back. While Slipstream awkwardly rubbed his helm with his servo and with a troubled look shown clearly in his expression.

Wilfred clutched to them tighter and lifted his head hesitantly, with his teary eyes staring at the two. He sniffled a little—his energy drained from the crying and couldn't bring himself to show the words he wanna say, as he looked over to drift that quietly went to his side.

To everyone's surprise, drift unexpectedly kneeled down and sharply looked to his students. "Wilfred meant to say that, he has felt your... jealously, at having my attention directed on him at times, which caused you to practice alone when he's with me and even going as far to only come to me when he's not there." He paused, and let the though sinked in to them. "Wilfred has felt discouraged and dejected in result." Drift purposely cut himself off, seeing the guilty looks on their faces.

"Now, what would be the right thing to do, students?"

Slipstream and Jetstorm looked at each other and got to Wilfred sides. Slipstream on the left and Jetstorm on the right. They simultaneously hugged him and muttered a low apology to the human.

"We sincerely apologise. We won't do such immature acts again."

Wilfred smiled, and savoured the warmth the two radiated.

The next day, instead of avoiding and going to their own routine of practice. They let Wilfred coach and watch over them, as drift proudly watched the three, a small smile on his faceplate.
