Peter just got home after a long day of school. He had a test in every class and to make sure he passed them all he studied for a month with barley any food or sleep. He dragged himself to the apartment he shared with his boyfriend, Wade. They'd been dating for 4 years, of course no one else knew. Well, other than May who unfortunately passed away due to cancer 2 and a half years ago. She died keeping his secret which he was grateful for but he couldn't help but miss her.
Wade was there when she passed, hugging Peter as the heart monitor slowed down. Her later words were "Wade, take care of my boy. ". To which he responded " I will May, I promise. ".
After that they were closer than ever. A month after that they moved in together.
The Avengers don't know of May's passing or the fact that Peter is gay. When he walked into his apartment he saw Wade spread out on the couch watching TV in his pajamas.
" Hey Pete-" He was cut off by Peter plopping down onto him. "Rough day, huh? " Wade asked running his hands through Peter's hair. Peter nodded into his chest.
Peter sighed, "So. Many. Tests." Peter mumbled. Wade chuckled, "do you see why I dropped out. " He said. Peter hit Wade's head lightly. "But I want to make a life for us and to do that I need to get an education. " Peter said. "But you're already really smart. Stark even said he could put you in college. " Wade said.
"Yeah but I would have to leave you behind and I don't think I could stay sane if you weren't with me. " Peter said

"Aww, I love you. " Wade said. "I love you too. " Peter said back. Wade sat up with Peter still on him. "I'm gonna go warm up some chimichanga's. You want one? " Wade said sliding Peter off him and getting up. "Mhm." Peter hummed, laying back down on the couch.
After eating the chimichanga's and watching TV Peters phone rang. Peter answered it without looking. "Hello? " He asked. "Hey Peter, I thought you were coming to the tower today. Did something happen? Are you okay? " It was Tony, he sounded worried. "I'm fine Mr. Stark. I came home and fell asleep. " Peter said.
"Oh, how's auntie hottie doing, can I talk to her? " Tony asked. "Umm, s-she at work right now. " Peter lied, tearing up while thinking of May. "Hey kid, is everything okay? " Tony asked. "Yeah, everythings alright. " Peter said. "Alright, I'll talk to you later kid. Bye. " Tony said. "Bye Mr. Stark. " Peter said.
Wade pulled Peter into a hug and kissed his forhead. "It's okay Peter. " Wade said softly.
