Maya Nelson was ordinary. WAS. Past tense. Then this 16 year old caught an extremely rare and new disease normally only seen in 3rd world countries. She and others around her age with the disease were moved to a hospital in America, a ten hour flight away from her home in England, thing is they are the only ones to ever have had this disease. All aged between 5 and 17, some don't speak English and need translators some don't even speak a language recognised by.... almost everyone. Wakanda opened its borders only a month previously and Shuri has been looking for a project for her brother. A way to help those outside. Then she stumbled across a local newspaper story in her database, 9 children from countries near Wakanda all falling ill with a mystery illness and being sent to America for treatment. She goes with her brother and the infamous Winter Soldier to investigate. *Set in between Black Panther/Civil War and Infinity war* I own no MCU characters only Maya and the concept/story. *Shuri and Maya*
