Chapter 1

A few months ago:

"I won't remember anything? How will I know what I need to do?"

"You'll know. We will watch over you and stay in communication. You just won't remember anything."

"Am I really capable of this?"

"More than you think. Whenever you're ready, Ellie."

The sun was rising, and the moon was drifting. The Winx were at Alfea. Bloom was making her bed. Stella was painting her nails. Flora was watering the plants. Tecna was on her computer. Musa was listening to music, and Aisha was gazing at the water over the sunrise while exercising.

Suddenly, Bloom’s phone began ringing, and Kiko eagerly grabbed it to give to her. As Bloom answered, her Earth dad appeared on the screen.

“Hi, honey,” her father greeted her with a warm smile.

“Dad!” Bloom exclaimed, waving happily and smiling back.

“Honey, we have a surprise for you. It won’t take long—we know you’re busy saving the dimensions,” her mother chimed in, laughing alongside her husband.

“I’ll be there in a moment,” Bloom said, smiling before ending the call.

She ran out of her room and into the living area, shouting excitedly.

“Girls! Can all of you come with me to Gardenia? My parents have a surprise for me!” she announced happily.

“I can’t wait! Wait, what is it? Or what could it be? Good or bad or—” Bloom started, but Tecna cut her off by tapping her shoulder, with the others looking on.

They transported to Bloom’s house, where she knocked on the door. Her dad opened it.

“Hey, Dad,” Bloom said, hugging him. Her mother appeared beside him.

“Mom!” Bloom exclaimed, hugging her mother tightly.

“Hey, honey. Girls, how was your day?” her mother asked, making all six girls laugh happily.

“Mom, what’s the surprise?” Bloom asked eagerly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Both her parents exchanged happy looks.

“Well, let’s go and sit,” her father said, leading everyone to the living room. Bloom walked alongside her mother and sat down beside her.

“Bloom, your father and I are…” her mother began, but Bloom interrupted.

“Are what?” Bloom asked, her excitement growing. Maybe she was getting a car or something even better.

“Bloom, please don’t freak out, okay?” her father said as Vanessa nodded, laughing softly.

“We are having a…” Vanessa tried to say but suddenly felt unwell, holding her head.

“Vanessa, are you okay? You don’t look well,” Flora asked, concerned.

“Do we need to take her to the hospital?” Bloom yelled worriedly.

“I’m fine, Bloom. Girls, we’ve already been to the hospital,” Vanessa reassured gently as Mike nodded.

“Wait, an Earth hospital, right?” Stella asked, double-checking.

“Yes,” Mike confirmed.

“But why? What happened?” Bloom asked, clearly confused.

“That’s why we wanted to tell you about the surprise,” her father began.
