Reviews on Korean Dramas released from 2016 to date.
I watch them and rate them, so you get all the good stuff!
Beware of spoilers, you have been warned.
If there's something about a review that you don't agree with, it's okay because it's a matte...
Based on the movie of the same name, The Beauty Inside is a show about a woman whose appearance changes once every month and a man who is diagnosed with a disease wherein he cannot recognise faces - even his own - and how they fall in love.
The cast includes Seo Hyun Jin and Lee Min Ki as leads and Ahn Jae Hyun, Moon Ji In and Lee Da Hee as some of the supporting leads.

Right off the bat, I have to say that this is one of the best shows I have watched this year. The leads have such incredible chemistry between them, something I haven't seen in any kdrama for a long long time, and they have put up some really great performances in this show.
Initially, when I began watching, I thought it was pretty alright, and I even felt that Lee Min Ki's acting fell a little flat, however, as the show progressed I fell more and more in love with it, and he's got his own little charm that I grew to like.
The couple have some unbelievably cute moments that made me swoon.

The supporting cast is so cute, and their own little love story is simply adorable too.
What I like about this show is that every character is complex in its own way, even those that only appear once throughout the show. They have their own distinct personalities and characteristics, and sometimes the plot twists in the show really make you feel like throwing your phone against the wall in either excitement or frustration.
I cannot stress enough on how cute this show was, and yes while it was cheesy lots of times, it was the good kind of cheesy.
I'm looking forward to more shows like this, because this one sure didn't disappoint.
However, I feel like this show could have been wrapped up in 12 episodes, and that it was stretched out a little bit, especially towards the end. Yet, I'm not complaining, since there's so much eye candy to go around.

Did I mention, there's a guest appearance by Kim Min Seok in the middle? It was such a refreshing moment to watch his hilarious cameo on screen.

I couldn't get enough off these two's chemistry.
There's a lot of other cameos that appear too, thanks to the plot of the show wherein the lead magically changes how she looks once every month.
Oh, and another bonus, there's a really cute dog in it too, and if you're a dog person like me, you won't be able to look away from how adorable it is.

Let me know in the comments below if you ever watch any show based on my reviews, and whether I should do anything to improve them or if you love them as they are! Currently, I'm watching two Korean dramas that hopefully I will try and review within this year, so if there's any other show you'd like me to review, please tell me! Don't forget to hit the star button, it makes my day :)
