Chapter 31 - Truth or Dare

Finn's P.O.V.

The week with Ellie went super fast and today was the last day before she and Nick would go back home to Vancouver. Yesterday I had managed to persue the Duffer brothers to let Ellie be an extra for some scenes we filmed at an outdoor location and when I told her she'd get to transform into an 80's kid she got super excited. Today the whole cast had a day off from work so me and Ellie had started it by sleeping for a long time followed by brunch at the room. It was now 1 pm and we where chilling infront of the TV as my phone rang. I picked it up and the screen said Gaten.

"Hey dude what's up?" I said as I answered the call.

"Hey! Me, Caleb, Noah, Sadie and Millie are going to the beach. Do you wanna come?" He said.

"Sure! Can I bring Ellie as well?" I said.

"Of course! Meet us in the hotel lobby in 10 minutes" He said.

"Okay see you soon!" I said as I hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" Ellie said as she turned to face me.

"Gaten, the others are going to the beach and they wondered if we wanted to come along" I said.

"That sounds so much fun!" She said and smiled.

We packed our backpacks with the stuff we needed for the beach and I put on my swimming trunks instead of the shorts I was wearing before walking downstairs and meeting the others in the lobby. As we had greeted the others we headed out towards a small and private beach that Gaten had found earlier this week. You walked through the woods to come there and just as Gaten said it was very small but no other people where there which where great considering that we are all famous except Ellie. We put down our things and Gaten, Sadie and Caleb threw off their clothes and ran towards a diving board that was from a small cliff at the beach. They all jumped into the sea as cannonballs. Me, Noah, Millie and Ellie laughed at them as we removed our clothes as well which left us in our trunks and bikinis.

"Come on guys! It's so nice in here!" Caleb shouted from the sea.

"Yeah! Jump in!" Sadie shouted.

"You ready Schnipper?" Millie said and looked at Noah.

"Always Millster!" Noah replied and laughed.

I watched the two of them run away to the diving board and jump in as well.

"I guess it's our turn now" I said and looked over at Ellie.

"Yeah" She said.

We walked to the diving board and as we stood behind it, with our feet still on the cliff, I noticed that Ellie had gotten nervous.

"Are you okay?" I said.

"I don't know, It's so high up, I don't know if I dare to jump." She said nervously.

"You can do it I promise. Together?" I said as I stretched out my hand.

"Together" She said as she took my hand.

I smiled before I started to run all that I could out on the diving board.

"Finn wait!" I heard Ellie behind me as she followed since I held onto her hand tightly.

I didn't answer and just in that moment the board ended and I took a step out in the air and  Ellie followed. I could hear her scream and I let out a whohoo. As we came under the water I let go of her hand and then swimmed up to the surface where I was met by her face.

"See I told you you could do it!" I said and smiled.

"That was so scary but also fun" She said and chuckled. "Thanks for just running onto the board and just jumping in. I would probably have stood there for so long if it wasn't for you" She added.

"You're welcome" I said and smiled at her.

In that moment we got eyecontact and I completely forgot about the others because the only thing I could see was her beautiful emerald green eyes. The moment was short lived though.

"Can you feel the loooove tonight!" I heard a british voice sing.

I snapped out of my own world and looked at Millie who where the one singing.

"Millieeee" I said as I began to swim towards her.

"You better swim Millie because Finn does not seem happy" Sadie said and laughed.

Millie began to swim and I chased her around while splashing her with water.

"I'm sorry Finn please stop!" She said while laughing.

"Why did you have to do that Mills?" I said as I looked over at Ellie who where playing with the other four abit away.

"You guys are so adorable together. I don't understand why you're not together yet because I know you really like her and she totally likes you back" She said.

"How do you know that?" I said.

"It's so obvious Finn, man up and just ask her out already" She said.

"I may ask her to prom in a month" I said.

"That sounds great!" She said and smiled.

We then swam back to the others and spent some hours at the beach before walking back to the hotel. After all of us had taken our showers and put on normal clothes again we decided to have a pizza party in Millie's hotelroom as a goodbye party for Ellie who's going home tomorrow. Millie had managed to persuade her parents to go and hangout with the other parents so that we could have their suite for ourselves.

When me and Ellie arrived in Millie's room she had already ordered loads of pizzas and they where all in a row on the livingroom table and the others sat on the couch and in the lounge chairs already. Me and Ellie sat down on two pillows on the ground as the other seats where taken. We began to eat the pizzas and when we where done Millie asked if we wanted to play truth or dare which we all agreed too. We began to ask eachother and some of the dares was just hillarious to watch and do.

"Ellie, truth or dare?" Sadie asked.

"Truth" Ellie said.

"Okay, who's your celebrity crush?" Sadie said.

"Uhm...I...." Ellie said as her cheeks turned red.

"Come on tell us!" Millie said.

"Okay well... My celebrity crush used to be Finn before I met him" Ellie said and blushed even more.

"Oh I see so now you don't like me" I said and pretended to be hurt.

"It's not like that Finn, I just meant that since I know you now you're not just a celebrity for me which is the whole point of a celebrity crush" Ellie said.

"But it can be a real crush instead!" Millie exclaimed.

I looked over at her. Seriously Millie, not that it already was awkward or anything.

"I'm just kidding with you but I'm honored that I used to be your celebrity crush" I said and nudged Ellie who sat next to me.

She giggled and we continued to play truth or dare. After a few more rounds it was Millie's turn to ask.

"Truth or dare Finn?" She asked.

"Dare!" I replied.

"Okay...." She began as she smirked "I dare you to kiss Ellie for atleast 10 seconds!"

I widened my eyes and looked over at Ellie as the other kids said ohhhh in unison.

"Are you okay with this?" I asked Ellie.

"S-sure I guess" She replied.

Well here it goes. I turned around so that I faced Ellie and began to lean in. My heart beat raised and thanks to Millie I was about to finally kiss her which to be honest I'm very thankful for. I felt Ellie breathing on me and I closed my eyes just as I was an inch away from touching her lips.

Anyways I hope this chapter made up for the last chapter which was super short. This one was a little bit more than twice as long and it included alot of juicy things! Also I think Millie is the #1 Feleanor shipper in this story or what do you all say? 😉
