Chapter 6 - You Can Sit With Us

Eleanor's P.O.V.

The next morning I woke up to that my phone had been blowing up with DM's on instagram from loads of people in my old school back in Brighton. Most of them never even spoke to me and now they where being all nice just because they had noticed that Finn was following me. What surprised me most was a DM from this girl called Megan. She is the most popular girl in our school and she's been bullying me for years. But now she was being all nice and wrote that she missed her friend Ellie and stuff. Really Megan, faking it and pretending that we was friends?, just because I now know someone famous who I know is one of your celebrity crushes. I sighted as I got ready for the day and had breakfast with my parents. As I ate I noticed that Leah had texted me as well, apparently she also had heard that Finn followed me on instagram and she was writing her messages in all caps. I could imagine her freaking out as she wrote that. I sent her a reply that I went to school with him and that he's the boy I talked about yesterday that I'm doing the project with.

Later I arrived in school and my first periods went by fast. It was now lunch and I sat down at an empty table just like yesterday and opened up my book which I began to read while eating my food. I got lost into the world of the book.

"Hey Ellie" A voice suddenly interrupted me.

I looked up from the book to see Finn standing across me on the other side of the table.

"Hi Finn" I said and smiled.

"Why are you sitting all alone? If you want you can come and sit with me and my friends" He said and gestured over at a table where two boys and two girls where sitting.

"It's okay, I like sitting here so that I can read my book" I said.

"Come on, they're all really nice. I promise" Finn said as he grabbed my tray.

"O-okay" I said.

I shoved my book into my bag and stood up before following Finn to the other table.

"Here you go" Finn said as he put down my tray before sitting down on the seat next to it. "Everyone meet Ellie" He then said to his friends.

I sat down at the chair beside Finn and looked at the others who said hi to me.

"Hey" I said shyly.

"These are my friends, Josh, Sam, Maya & Hailey" Finn said and pointed to each person as he said their names.

"So you're the lucky girl who got to be Finn's partner for english?" Maya said and smirked.

"Uhm yeah..." I said.

"Maya" Finn said and gave her a look that told her to shut up.

"Okay sorry" She replied.

I spent the rest of the lunch with them and they where all really nice to me.

When school was over I went home and decided to draw something. I ended up making a portrait of Finn and it took me about 5 hours to make without the dinner paus that I took in the middle. I smiled at the result and decided to upload it on my drawing instagram account called @EllieCDraws that had over 5k followers which I'm so thankful for. I snapped a picture of it, did some light editing so it was more clear and uploaded it with the caption: A new portrait of one of my favourite people to draw, the one and only @finnwolfhardofficial 💖 I also added some hashtags before posting it.

I then switched over to mine and Leah's Stranger Things fan account that we shared that had abit over 1k followers. I went to our story and took an all black picture which I added some text to that said: I'm sorry for not being active these last few days but as you all might know I've moved from Brighton and the UK to Vancouver and Canada. I've now settled into our new house and gone to my new school for two days. Vancouver has already topped my expectations and I think I'll like it here alot! I'll post a new edit soon, I promise ~ E
