Hiccup's POV:
--------------------I wake up once again to see Toothless in my face. He sat next to me holding the scale in his mouth. He put it on me. What is it with him and this scale it's really starting to bug me now. He nudged me trying to hand it to me. I picked it up and looked at him with a frown.
"Toothless. It's just a scale. You have been going on about this scale for ages now." He nudged me again. "What's up with you?" He walked over to my desk and picked up the other scale and gave it to me. I looked at both of them. The one Toothless first gave me had a slight blue shimmer to it but it still looked pretty much the same.
"Grrrrawww!" He growled at me.
"Toothless, I don't understand you when you yell." I told him as if I was talking to a child.
"Grrrrrrr." He growled again.
"What's wrong with you. You have been stressing over this scale for almost a week. You have new scales now, or do you want me to glue this one to you?"
"Grrrrrrrrr!" He suddenly grabbed the scale that had the slight shimmer to it and pulled me out of bed putting me on his back. He shot out the window and into the town.
"Toothless! Go back home now! I'm not even dressed yet!" He just kept running towards the woods. He jumped on something and I fell off him. He turned around and put the scale in the saddle bag and picked me up in his mouth by the back of my shirt then continued running. My leg got caught on fallen branch but toothless kept running so my prosthetic leg was stuck to the tree while I was stuck in the mouth of a dragon. The metal leg was ripped off me as toothless continued passed the trees.
"Ok, ok that's it! Toothless STOP!" He continued running ignoring me. "STOP NOW!" He just kept going. "You leave me no choice bud!" I scratched him under the chin and he fell into a sleep. I hopped up with the one leg I had and looked down at the black reptile blow me. What has gotten into him, he never acts like this. I hopped over to where my metal leg was stuck in a branch and put it back on me. Toothless was still asleep so I decided to just walk home and he will come back later. It's not like he can leave, he can't fly. And it's not like he learned to sail a boat yesterday.

Astrid's POV:
--------------------I walk out side where I see Hiccup walking towards his house without his armour. That's weird, he always wears his armour, he doesn't leave home without it. I make my way over to him when I see him limping slightly.
"Hiccup, are you ok?"
"Oh gods! Oh, It's just you. You scared me." He said jumping.
"Are you ok? Why are you limping?"
"Toothless just dragged me into the woods for some reason."
"What?! Dragged you into the woods?!" I said looking around for Toothless.
"Yeah, he's going on about that scale I found. I don't know why but he just took it and me into the woods." Hiccup said casually.
"What's so special about the scale?"
"I don't know. All I do know is it seems to mean a lot to him."
"Where is Toothless now?" I asked.
"Still in the woods. I had to knock him out with that pressure spot to stop him from dragging me across the floor." He said rubbing the back of his head.
"This isn't like Toothless. Do you think he's ok?"
"Well he seems ok but he is just acting really strange since the day the dragons shed their scales."
"Maybe he ate an eel again?" I suggested.
"No I think he just has some sort of obsession over that specific scale."
"It's kind of cold. You should go back and get your armour on." I said looking at him shaking.
"Yeah I was just heading home now."

Hiccup's POV:
--------------------I walk down stairs where I see mum walking back and fourth.
"What's wrong mum?"
"Have you seen Cloudjumper, he's been gone for about half an hour now."
"Maybe at one of the feeding stations or at the hanger?" I suggested.
"That's just the thing. I have searched all over Berk! I don't think he is on the island."
"Don't worry I'll get Toothless and go search for him. He couldn't have gone far."
"Ok I'll wait here." She said sitting in a chair with a worried look on her face.
I walk outside expecting Toothless to be there but he wasn't. He must still be in the woods. I walk to where I saw him last but he left. He wasn't in the woods either. Where was he? He couldn't have left the island, he can't fly. I was only joking when I said he could have learned to sail a boat. I walk home to a still worried mum.
"Mum. Toothless is missing too!"
"What?!" She says standing up.
"He's not on the island. How could he have left? He can't fly without me."
"Cloudjumper! Ahhhh! Cloudjumper must have given him a lift."
"Where would they have gone?" I ask her.
"I don't know. Cloudjumper usually never leaves without me."
"Toothless ran into the woods today. With the scale. He was running somewhere. He must have been trying to get off the island because he tried to bring me with him."
"And because you didn't go with him, he would have got Cloudjumper to take him where he wanted to go!" Mum said. I hated to admit it but what she said made a lot of sense. "We need to find them!"
"But how?" I asked
"The other dragons aren't missing. Gather the gang. We leave now. We will start by searching every corner of Berk and then use that map of yours to search other islands."
"Sounds like a plan. I'll go get everyone." I said walking out the door.
