Hiccup has loved Astrid for as long as he could remember and believes the only way for her to love him is, if he captures and kills a night fury. When he finally captures a night fury there is a change of plans, as he's been placed first in dragon training he plans to flee the village but gets caught and everything changes. Astrid who has always had a crush on Hiccup gets worried when she overhears a conversation the village was having about him, and decides to try and find him in the woods but instead discovers a big secret he hides. The Forgotten, two girls who lead a gang. These girls are called The Forgotten because they claim they are forgotten by many people, especially their former best friends that turned I into their worst enemies. Astrid Hofferson and Elsa Winters have always stood beside each other, they fight against Pitch Black, the Nightmare Master. Hiccup Haddock and Jack Frost are the cause of The Forgotten, because they forgot who their true friends were in exchange for popularity. What happens if these two boys try to get close to Elsa and Astrid again? Will they accept or push them away?

One heck of a rollercoaster ride.

What happens when Astrid and Hiccups love life escalates? When intruders invade Berk? When arguments occur? Will Hiccup and Astrid make it through this, what will happen to Berk, and will changes break the gang up or pull them closer together? Author's Note: The first few chapter focus mainly on some Hicstrid fluff and it takes place after the events in How To Train Your Dragon 2. I wrote this story before Race to Edge came out so nothing from that is in here. Astrid's name means Divine Beauty in Old Norse, divine meaning godly (hint the title name). I will try to update as quick as possible you'll just have to bare with me. Also i do not own How to Train Your Dragon or anything related (characters, themes, ect.). I did not steal any ideas from users on this site or others so if it is similar it was by accident. Okay since thats over, hope you enjoy!

Hiccup Haddock III was sick and tired of his life. He was tired of getting pitied glances everywhere he went. He was sick of overhearing conversations about how ashamed his father must feel of him. But all that changed when he was given the privilege to kill a Monstrous Nightmare. He couldn't kill it, though. He wouldn't. He couldn't betray his only friend. The one being that didn't judge him. So he ran away. Ran away from his family and his home. Everyone thought he was dead, but when a mysterious dragon rider comes back to Berk with news, the visit doesn't go very well. The Berkians are Vikings; it's in their nature to be stubborn and they don't take too kindly to strange masked visitors that ride Night Furies. Things only go downhill from there and everything Hiccup thought was stable in his life turns out to be everything but that. _~~~__~~~__~~~__~~~__~~~__ I DO NOT OWN THE CHARACTERS IN THIS BOOK. High School just isn't the same without the typical drama and romance, school fights and jealousy. And to top it all off with deadlines, exams and cramming. Yeah, it just wouldn't be the same.
