exercise: Pick two truths and one lie - it doesn't need to be about you, it can be general knowledge or facts - and make it a story. If you want to make it into a game ask people to guess what the lie is!
example:
I sit on the bus, dazed, when my phone vibrates in my pocket. I blink twice, then pick it up. "Hello?"
"Where are you?" my brother asks.
I look outside. "Shoot. I'm not sure. I forgot to get off."
The landscape turns from a road by a plaza to a set of trees. I yank on the yellow bus cord and the automated voice says, "Stop requested."
I hop off once the bus pulls to a stop. I glance on both sides of the street and I don't see an intersection nearby, but there is a bus stop across the street. I wait for a few cars to pass before I tighten the straps on my backpack and dart across the tarmac. A bus careens down the road. The bus stop is a minute's walk away. I race for the stop, but the bus driver cruises pass me. I slow and hunch over, pinching my cramped sides. God, I need to exercise.
A blue caravan pulls up behind me and a man rolls down the window. His wife sits behind the wheel. "Do you need a ride?"
