challenge: Include the words "paroxysm", "guff" and "caprice " in a short story (or poem) no more than 5 pages. I will provide the definitions below in case you aren't familiar with a word. They were chosen randomly, but I feel they all can be used quite easily for a singular theme.
purpose: Think creativity. Consciously plan a way to connect concepts and ideas (words) to create a story with a good flow.
paroxysm [ˈperəkˌsizəm]: a sudden attack or violent expression of a particular emotion or activity. Examples: "a paroxysm of weeping" and "paroxysms of coughing"
guff [guf]: nonsence; insolent talk (also means flatulation - to fart - as a verb). Example: "Don't you dare give me all that guff about being sick."
caprice [kəˈprēs]: a sudden and unaccountable change of mood or behavior. Example: "Her caprices had made his life impossible."
