Chapter 27

I woke up and I was completely on Jason. I didn't mind thought I was really comfortable.

"Morning sleepy head" he yawned.

I looked up and he was smiling at me.

"Morning" I mumbled.

He went to go get up but I wrapped my arms around his body.

"Don't, I'm comfortable" I whined.

He laid back down and wrapped his arms around me. I smiled and sighed.

"Alex?" he asked.

"Hmm" I hummed.

He brought his fingers under my chin and pushed them a little so I was facing him.

He smiled at me and crashed his lips to mine. I was shocked at first but kissed him back. I doubt I was any good though, he is my first kiss. But boy oh boy did I feel sparks.

We pulled away and I felt my face heat up and I hid my face in his shoulder.

"Can I tell you something?" he asked.

"Yeah" I mumbled into his shoulder.

"I like you" he whispered.

I looked up at him and smiled.

"Can I tell you something as well?" I questioned.

"Yeah" he nodded.

"I like you too" I whispered back.

His smile got bigger while his face got a bit more red and I wrapped the blanket more around me.

I felt him kiss my head and I closed my eyes again and fell asleep.

*Jason's pov*

I kissed her. I actually kissed her.

At least she likes me back because that would have been extremely embarrassing.

I looked down and she was sleeping again. I slid out from under her and walked to the kitchen and my mom was wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Sooooo" she smiled.

"Oh be quite mom" I laughed.

She laughed too and made waffles.

"You guys are cute together. She is a really sweet girl, she knows manners" mom said.

"I know. She's not like the other girls" I sighed dreamily.

"Are you taking her to your Spring Formal?" she asked.

"Yeah" I smiled.

"I can do her hair if she would like" my mom offered.

"I don't know if she would want you to she mentioned about doing her own hair but I can ask her" I said.

She nodded and continued making breakfast.

Alex slowly got up from the couch and held her head.

"Head still hurt?" I asked.

She nodded and my mom handed her some pills and she took it with water.

She sat down on the chair and I wrapped my arms around her shoulders.

"Ok love birds waffles are ready" my mom smiled.

I saw her blush and I grabbed both hers and my plate and sat down at the table.

We both dug in and my mom left us alone.

We sat in silence as I kept looking at her.

"You know staring is rude" she giggled.

"Well then I guess I'm rude" I laughed.

She looked at me through her eyelashes and glasses and smiled a little.

When we were done I took our plates and put them in the dishwasher and she looked through her pile of clothes.

"What you doing?" I asked.

"I want to go to the park" she said.

"What about your head?" I asked.

"It doesn't hurt since I took those pills, they last about 4 hours until it starts hurting again" she shrugged.

I nodded and ran to my room and threw on black joggers and a long sleeve red shirt.

I walked out and she just walked out of the bathroom wearing black leggings and a red shirt.

What are the odds?

"Hey twin" I laughed.

She turned towards me and laughed.

"I didn't plan that" she giggled.

"Me neither. Let's go" I said.

I slipped on my Jordan's and she slipped her converse on and we walked to the park since it was just a 2 minute walk.

When we got there she went to the swings and I lightly pushed her.

"I think you and Noah should make up" she said.

"Why?" I asked.

"It's my fault you guys aren't friends" she sighed.

I stopped pushing her and crouched down in front of her.

"Hey, no it's not stop saying that" I mumbled.

She nodded and got up from the swings and walked to a tree and sat down under it.

I joined her and pulled her closer to me as she rested her head on my shoulder.

We stayed there for hours talking and laughing with each other until 9:30.

She yawned which caught my attention.

"Let's go back to my house" I said.

She nodded but almost fell.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I'm just dizzy" she groaned.

I scooped her up and she laughed a little bit.

Wind blue and she snuggled into my chest. She yawned once again and her eyes went up and down slowly.

"If you want to sleep I'll put you to bed when we get to my house" I whispered.

She nodded slightly and when I arrived at my house I carried her up to my room and laid her on my bed gently.

I took her glasses off and I changed, brushed my teeth and laid right next to her.

I covered us in my blankets and she snuggled into them. I laughed quietly as she mumbled in her sleep.

I smiled at her and closed my eyes.
