The Nerd and the Bad Boy

Chapter 20

I wake up with the biggest head ache and let's just say last night I did something that I never expected to do.

Well you see I was so upset and everything goes wrong for me and I can never stay happy. So I saw my razor and I guess you can connect the dots.

My arms were sore but it didn't hurt from what I expected.

I look in the mirror and my eyes were still a bit red and puffy.

I roll out of bed and take a quick shower.

I put on a sweater and leggings. I throw my hair in 2 side braids and I put my retainer in.

Also, I had to wrap my arms up in these bandages I had because I wouldn't stop bleeding.

Once it turned 6:30 I slipped my converse on, threw my backpack on and walked out the door.

I got to school and everyone looked at me in even more disgust. Jason was talking with his best friend and was leaning against his car with Lindsey next to him.

Let's not forget the fact that his dad showed up at my house and screamed in my face. Like literally screamed in my face.

My parents are probably disappointed in me. I mean, I came out as a loser. I came out a girl who everyone hates. I'm ugly and I'm just a nobody.

As I walked in the school with my head down people were swearing at me and still calling me names.

"Asshole"

"Gold digger"

"Thief"

"Liar"

"Bitch"

Plus more. I just kind of zoned them out.

*lunch*

I didn't bother going to the lunch room where I would probably get food dumped on me or people screaming in my face.

So I went to the bathroom and currently sitting on the floor in the corner crying.

Yup this is what my life has come to.

When the bell rang I got up off the floor still crying and walked to my next class.

After the long dreadful day of school it was finally over.

I walk out with my head down and I decide to go to the cemetery.

When I arrive I see my dad and mom's grave right next to each other.

"Hey guys. I miss you, so much. You know I didn't take his watch. You had to see who took it, cause I swear on my life that I didn't. I'm sorry that I'm such a disappointment to you guys. I love you both. Bye" I whispered.

I got up off the ground and placed tiny flowers in front of their graves and walked home.

I did my homework and started doing laundry while singing.

When I finished my laundry I plopped on my bed and changed into a tank top and sweats.

I heard a knock on the door. Who could it possible be? I have no friends.

I get up and answer the door and see Jason's mom and his dad.

"Um yes?" I asked.

His mom elbowed his dad and he fake coughed.

"I'm sorry of what I said yesterday. It was out of line and uh um. We are sorry about your parents" he fake smiled.

I rolled my eyes. They are here to pity me.

"Not to be rude but don't pity me" I sighed.

"We aren't hon, Pete was out of line yesterday and we are very sorry" she smiled.

It was a nice warm smile that reminded me of my moms smile she gave everyone.

"It's ok, but I just wanted to tell you that I didn't steal his watch" I said.

"What do you mean?" his dad asked.

"Jason offered me Converse but I wouldn't take them. Why would I take his Apple Watch that's way more expense than 30 dollar shoes?" I asked.

"Oh, well we will have a talk with Jason" his mom smiled at me once again.

His dad nodded and his eyes landed on my forearms. Shit.

"What happened?" he asked.

His mom looked at my arms and gasped.

"I cut myself cleaning don't worry about me" I lied.

They nodded slowly and walked off towards their car.

I closed the door once they dove away and I walked to my room and jumped on my bed.

That was close.
