You loved Warped Tour, what you loved, even more, was meeting band members. So when your best friend suggested sneaking backstage to where all the band buses were you didn't say no. One band, you wanted to meet was Black Veil Brides, in particular, you wanted to meet CC because he was your drumming idol.

"y/n over here, no ones looking."

Your best friend finds a gap in the wire fence and pulls it back enough for the two of you to slip under. Brushing dirt off your knees on the other side you wanted to try and fit in knowing security would find it odd that two girls looked muddy.

"Oh my god is that Danny? See you later girl."

You roll your eyes as your giddy friend makes a mad dash after Danny from Asking Alexandria, acting more like a fangirl than someone who was trying to fit in and not get kicked out. She was so going to get caught, and you wanted to be nowhere near her when that happened.

~10 Minutes Later~

Now you were on your own you didn't quite know what to do. You managed to say hi to a few passing band members but nerves were getting the best of you. At least no one thought you didn't belong.

"Excuse me miss, but I need to see your pass."

You gulp and turn around coming face to face with a buff security guard who looked like he could break you in two like a twig, "why?"

"I just caught a girl who had sneaked in here and she gave me your description. Now may I see your pass?"

Of course, your friend got caught and had dragged you down as well. You were about to admit to not having one and apologise for breaking in when a pass is dangled in front of your face from behind.

"You left your pass on the bus silly. No problem here security."

You let the guy with the very familiar voice drape the pass around your neck, taking the security guard by surprise.

"Sorry, my mistake. Have a good day."

He walks off and you turn around grinning only to come face to face with CC who leans forwards and pokes your nose.

"Naughty girl sneaking in here. I saw you watching our set, or should I say watching me?"

You laugh, "my friend has all the fun ideas and then ditches me. I play the drums and love watching other drummers. Though next time I can always watch another member CC."

He gasps, "no we can't have that, CC needs more love and attention than the other members. I think I've seen you play somewhere before...err..."

"y/n, and I'm not in a band."

He shakes his head and grabs your hand, and starts to pull you through the backstage area like a man on a mission. You blush and ignore other band members who wolf whistle and cheer CC on. This wasn't happening right now.

CC guides you onto a tour bus which you assumed was his and plonks you down on the sofa in the front lounge, "I have seen you play before y/n."

He picks up a nearby laptop and your eyes widen, you didn't think anyone important watched your dumb little drum covers on YouTube. You watch him sit quite close to you and place the laptop on his lap as your YouTube channel loads in front of you.

"Oh my god CC my covers are awful, that's why no one watches them."

He tuts, "they are very good y/n and you need to have more faith in your skills. A fan sent me the link on Twitter and I love watching your videos."

He puts on your most recent cover of Wake Up by Black Veil Brides and it was kind of surreal watching yourself on the screen while CC looked kind of cute being all engrossed in the performance.

"CC, are you a secret fangirl?"

The drummer looks up and blushes, "maybe."

You can't contain a squeal, put the laptop to one side and squeeze his cheeks, "ah so cute, I'm honoured."

He playfully slaps your hands away, "I'm not cute, I'm manly y/n."

You giggle, "Yes CC you're a manly man. Wow, I never thought this is how I would meet my idol. You're so laid back and fun to be around."

He pulls you into a bear hug, "and you're my new best friend who I'm never letting go of y/n."

His cheerfulness was contagious, and it looked like you had found yourself a new friend who appreciated your drumming hobby. This day was everything and more, and when you met back up with your friend you couldn't wait to rub this in her face.
