It's Raining Outside

AUSTIN

Staring out of the window I watch the rain storm down outside feeling bad for anyone caught up in the sudden downpour. y/n wouldn't be silly enough to risk walking the short distance from her apartment to mine. Yes, her car was in for a service and she refused my offer to pick her up. I thought it made me look like a good boyfriend, but she said everything would be fine and I trusted her.

Rapid knocking on my front door snaps me out of my thoughts. Opening the door I'm met by my drenched and pouting girlfriend y/n.

"It's raining y/n. Why aren't you wearing a coat?"

y/n shrugs her shoulders casually, she was wearing nothing but a strappy summer dress and a pair of now wrecked Vans.

"In my defence Austin it's summer, we've had a heatwave and it hasn't rained for like six weeks. This storm came out of nowhere and took me by surprise on my way over here."

I usher her inside and leave her dripping on my carpet while I grab two towels from the cupboard. She puts one around her hair and the other around her now shivering body.

"Come on silly you can borrow some of my clothes."

y/n cheers and follows me to the bedroom. We'd been together five months so she had no problem stripping in front of me which was a very nice sight for me. I had her a pair of my OM&M shorts which nearly fall off her, and she then throws on one of my many jumpers.

"You're the best Austin."

She closes the space between us and stands on her tiptoes before kissing me square on the lips. I kiss her back, her still wet hair tickling my cheek.

"I know I am y/n. Now, what do you want to do?"

y/n giggles, I knew that giggle all too well to know that she was thinking of something naughty the two of us could do since we couldn't go outside in the rain.

"We could do something naughty Carlile, but I think we should cuddle on the sofa and watch Disney films for the rest of the day."

A huge smile breaks out across my face, y/n loved Disney films as much as me which made us a perfect couple.

"What should we watch first y/n?"

y/n smirks, "how about Little Mermaid?"

I nod in agreement and take her hand before leading her out of the bedroom and back towards the lounge. She flops down on the sofa while I set up the film. The rain continued to storm on outside as I cuddled on the sofa with my beautiful y/n. This was a perfect date day.
