Tet Talks About Nothing

Family reunions are so awkward all of a sudden

When I was little, I'd talk everyone's ears off and be annoying. I didn't care.

But even if I didn't talk to the adults, neither did my sister, and we'd play games together while the adults talked

But now?

My sister is an adult. So she can talk to adults and isn't bored by it. Sure she doesn't like it but she can and does do it.

But me? I don't have any common ground with any adults in my family. I haven't been to college, I like to play video games, I'm not on Facebook. Hell, my parents don't even brag about my grades and how smart I am. Instead they just talk about how smart and beautiful and creative and perfect their lil college student is.

In other words, I'm sad n lonely and can't talk to people. I do appreciate the friends I do have, but... i can't talk to them while I'm with family. They get mad if I'm on my phone to often. Sigh.

But, I don't have it as bad as other people so, I'll live.
