There you sat, on the couch with your eyes glued to the ceiling of the house. You couldn't stop thinking about that night, that one horrid night.

It felt like your whole body stopped working. Quickly running back to your room you slam your door and scream in anger.

What you had seen was Maria on top of Shadow, but not only that she was kissing him. And it seemed that Shadow.. Liked it..?

You snapped out of your thoughts by blinking and sitting up from the couch.

"Dammit.. Forget about it.. Forget about it.. " You muttered to yourself while wiping the tears away from your eyes.

"He never liked you.. Just forget about it dammit!!" You yelled, now tears were spilling from your eyes nonstop.

There you were, sitting in the living room with your legs up to your face and your eyes pooling with tears.

Looking up at the clock in the living room, you were able to make out the time that was written on it.

2:30 am

And as suspected, you ended up falling asleep on the couch with dry salty tears staining your cheeks.

After 30 minutes of you being asleep, Shadow had come downstairs to get a late night drink.

But walking past the living room, he noticed your sleeping figure. Be very curious, Shadow walked into the living room and looked at you closely.

He seen you wearing a very big hoodie and black shorts under it, black socks, and your hair slightly curled.

But as he scanned your figure, he also took notice of your tear stained cheeks.

'Was she... Crying..? ' Shadow mentally thought.

Shadow stood there staring at you with those piercing red eyes.

'What could she have been crying about..? (Y/N)'s behavior has been weird since that day Maria showed up. She hardly ever comes out of her room. She has a purple bruise along her neck and hasn't told me about it. She even leaves without me knowing.. What is up with her..? ' Shadow huffed quietly and grabbed you gently.

Taking in another glance at your peaceful figure, Shadow smirked to himself as he walked to your room and set you down on your bed.

Shadow couldn't help but smile and rub your head. Just staring at your peaceful body put him at ease.

But what he did even surprised himself...

Shadow gave you a forehead kiss.
