As Scourge made his way back to the hide out where Mephiles was, he began to get nervous to what he was gonna do to him this time.

As he finally made it to the hide out, Scourge looked around for the dark hedgehog.

"Mephiles?" Scourge asked as he looked around still holding his stomach.

Mephiles appeared in front of the green hedgehog with his arms folded.

"You are empty handed.. What happened? " Mephiles asked him, glaring at him with those lifeless eyes.

"I don't know, at first she resisted and jumped off of a roof. Then.. She turned into a... a.. " Scourge couldn't find the right words to finish his sentence.

"Chaotic Angel... " Mephiles said as he turned his back and began walking deeper into the hide out.

"Chaotic Angel?" Scourge repeated.

Mephiles stopped walking and turned to face the green hedgehog.

"This (A/T) is very useful and special to me... She has very powerful chaos energy." Mephiles said as he turned around once again and walked away.

With Scourge following him not far behind.

"Chaos energy..? What do you mean Mephiles?" Scourge asked now becoming more interested in the topic.

"When the (A/T) was younger, her own parents gave up there own chaos energy to save there daughter." Mephiles said, that same glare never leaving his face.

"But how did they get chaos energy in the first place? " Scourge asked.

"The rid all of the chaos emeralds power and transferred it into themselves, hoping that no more evil will come to the world. But as every other plan, it failed. Soon everyone was after the power of the emeralds." Mephiles paused and turned towards Scourge.

"And as I said before, the transferred the power into the young (A/T). But doing this they had to give themselves up to save the (A/T)." Mephiles finished as he turned his head toward the faded chaos emeralds.

"But the first time I tried to catch her this didn't happen, so why did it happen now?" Scourge asked.

"You must have provoked her in a way. What did you do exactly? " Mephiles asked.

"I was fighting with Shadow, that's when she interfered with the fight and turned into that Chaotic Angel. " Scourge said as he clenched his hand.

"Ahh~ So she's grown fond of him.. We can use this to our advantage.. " Mephiles said quietly.

"So why do you need her..? " Scourge asked.

Mephiles appeared in front of Scourge and grabbed him by his jacket.

"Because in order to get the chaos emeralds energy back I must get rid of her! She must be killed! Now go back out there and bring me the (A/T)!!" Mephiles yelled as he threw Scourge on the floor and disappeared.

"Fucking asshole.. " Scourge breathed out before leaving the hide out to find the chaotic angel.

As Sonic and Shadow waited patiently for you to wake up from your sleep.

The room was filled with tension, it was quiet. Too quiet. That is until Sonic broke the uncomfortable silence.

"Shadow do you have any idea what the hell happened?" Sonic asked.

"If I did I would have been trying to figure out what the hell to do with her." Shadow said as he folded his arms and closed his eyes.
