There you were laying down on your bed in the darkness of the big room that Shadow had given to you earlier that day. As you laid there silently, many thoughts swarmed your head. Like who was that Mephiles character,and why did he want to kill you? Is he planning to use you?

As all of the questions popped in and out of your head you didn't even notice Shadow walk in, place something on the table next to you , and simply walk back out. But hearing your door close made your thoughts stop.

"Hm..? " was all you could say before seeing a box on the table right next to you.

Looking at it for a brief moment you caught a glimpse of a white piece of paper on the side of the box. As you grabbed it you read it silently in your head.

'You will have uses for these things, they are ways for me to contact you. You must wear these at all times, got it?' You finished.

"Wow not even a 'love' or 'sincerely' at the end of the note... Rude" You huffed in a jokingly tone.

Grabbing the box you opened it to reveal..

A wrist communicator and a cell phone.

"He must want me to wear the communicator at all times, if it makes him happy and keeps him out of my face, then whatever. " You growled angrily.

Taking one last look at the wrist communicator you noticed that it was a vibrant (F/C).

'Did he know my- N-no it's not possible, your just tripping (Y/N). Maybe I should get some sleep and take my mind off of things.. ' Mentally finishing your thoughts you put the communicator on your wrist and climbed under your thick bed sheets and simply went to bed.

~•: In the morning :•~

Yawning and stretching, you turn your head to look at the clock and look at the time.

12:30?!

'Shit! Shit! Shit! I was supposed to be up two hours ago!' You mentally screamed at yourself.

Grabbing your uniform and running into your bathroom you quickly changed. Feeling a bit sad because you had woken up late, you didn't have time to shower.

Grabbing the rest of your things like shoes, little hat, and hair tie. You ran out of your room to go find Shadow, hoping he wouldn't yell at you for getting up late.

Finally making it to the kitchen, you find Shadow there, sitting on the table with a stern look that basically says 'your dead'.

"Ahem.. I'm sorry Shadow I-" You were cut off.

"You will refer to me as Master Shadow from now on..." Shadow said still never dropping the nerve wracking glare.

"Y-yes of course Master Shadow." You stuttered out, as you fixed your posture.

"Now I have a couple of things to say, one.. You must wake up on time tomorrow!! And secondly I'm going out today, so when I come back I expect the house to be clean.. " Shadow finished.

All you could do was nod your head in reply.

'I can't believe I have to be treated like this, just because I'm his house maid, he treats me like he's known me for the longest time.' You mentally said to yourself.

"(Y/N)? Are you listening?!" Shadow asked, making your thoughts stop.

"S-sorry Master Shadow, can you repeat one more time?" You asked slightly nervous and politely as possible.

Sighing in annoyance Shadow said once more,

"You cleaning supplies are gonna be in the closet in the kitchen." Shadow finished.

"Alright thank you for the information Master Shadow." You bowed your head in thanks.

"Hmph yeah... Well I'm heading out right now, I'll see you in a few hours." Shadow said coldly as he slammed the front door to the house.

Turning around you were met with a filthy house, with stains in almost every corner, pairs of socks and gloves littered the floor, some discarded wrappers were here and there on the floor, and to top all of it off there was a huge stack of laundry.

"I'm so gonna get you back for this Shadow. Well... I better get started.. " You said as you went to the kitchen and grabbed some rubber gloves.

"Alright... " You clenched your fist, "Let's do this!" You said as you ran around the house cleaning it like a mad woman.

~•* 5 Hours of cleaning later *•~

Panting heavily you stand up and wipe the sweat coming from your forehead. Taking in your surroundings, you look at the now finished and clean house.

The stains on the floor were now replaced with gleaming pearl floors, all of the socks and gloves that littered the floor were now clean, smelling fresh and in folded neatly, along with the rest of laundry.

Wiping your head to rid of the sweat once more, you huffed out a puff of air and said to yourself,

"Man for a hedgehog that lives by himself, he sure does make a big mess.. " You said quietly.

Glancing over at the clock you notice it was way past a few hours.

'5:10. Hm maybe he's busy doing a job or something like that..?' You mentally said to yourself.

"Hm.. Might as well start on dinner since I finished cleaning." You huffed once more while walking to the kitchen to get started on a meal for 'Master' Shadow.

~•* 2 and a half hours later *•~

Finishing the last dish in the sink you sigh in relief.

"Hm.. Let's see... I set the table, served the food, made sure the decor in the kitchen was fitting for him, and... Oh! I almost forgot the drinks." You said as you grabbed a glass and poured a soft wine into it.

Just as you put the wine back you  heard the front door slam open. Quickly making your way over to the door you see Shadow walk in with a white bat, that had purple outgoing wings, a top shapes in the form of a heart, long high heeled boots, along with high white gloves that fit on to her arms perfectly.

"Welcome back Master Shadow. I have prepared dinner for you." You said while bowing your head.

Looking around Shadow was surprised to see the whole house was spotless.

"Hmph.. Looks like your good at this already.. Take her to the guest bedroom, she will be staying with us for a while." Shadow said while pointing to the white bat.

"Oh and also give her some clothes, there should be some in one of the guest bedrooms.. " Shadow finished at he walked to the kitchen.

"Yes of course Master Shadow, follow me please. " Signaling the bat to follow you you took her to a guest bedroom and left her to settle.

Going back downstairs you walk into the kitchen and grab an extra plate for the unexpected guest and serve her some leftovers.

As you set the plate down next to Shadow, you go back and grab a glass and the opened wine bottle and pour some into the empty glass.

"Leave the wine here, you are finished with your work for today. " Shadow said quickly.

"As you wish, I will be in my room if you need me." You said as you walked to your room and closed the door quietly.
