Liam: "I never thought seventh wheeling was a thing. But here I am. I have accomplished the pathetic and impossible." Liam muttered from beside you, on his other side Harry just chuckled, but you frowned. "It's not our fault Niall got sick." You said, nodding at the waiter who gestured to your half empty water glass. "Asshole. Left me to rot." He huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. You were out with Harry, Zayn and their respective ladies, and your boyfriend, leaving Liam without a date. You rolled your eyes, "Don't be so dramatic, we're all friends here." You gestured around the table. "Yep. Most of us." Liam said, a pointed look in your boyfriends direction. It didn't phase you that Liam wasn't too keen on him yet, Liam just had a tendency to take on the older brother role around you. "Oh! I have an idea, I think maybe my friend Brittany isn't doing anything tonight and I'm sure you'd like her." You said to Liam, already moving to reach around your chair to get into your purse. Liam quickly stopped you, "Don't bother, ____. The only person I'd want to be here with, is already here with someone else." He said, his eyes never leaving yours.

Louis: Louis grumbled, crossing his arms next to you. "Does he make you call him the rock at all? Cause he seems like the type." You rolled your eyes, continuing to unpack some of your kitchen utensils. "Not nearly as much as you make me call you rockstar." You sang back as he rolled his eyes. "My nickname is a fact. His would be, a jab or something." He trailed off, watching as your boyfriend walked through the door with yet another box. "Did you come here to chit-chat or some here to help?" You quipped, hands on your hips. "I was helping. Until the Hulk over here said he 'had it handled, son'. Should someone inform him that I am older than him? And better looking? And-" "Louis. Please, can you save the overprotective best friend shit for a day when I'm not moving in somewhere? My sanity would thank you." "Well my sanity would be helped if you didn't have a piece of meat for a boyfriend. You think he's on steroids?" Louis asked quietly, leaning towards you. You rolled your eyes ignoring him. He helped you silently for a while before your boyfriend popped in. "Uh, Louis. Wanna help me bring up the couch? I'd do it but, you know, angles and stuff. lt May take longer with just me." He said and you were almost sure Louis was going to punch him. "Yep." he said tightly, your boyfriend heading out. "And there is a difference between over-protectiveness and envy, love."

Zayn: Zayn grunted again, picking his feet off the table to let your boyfriend by. You sent him a sideways glance, before your boyfriend finally disappeared around the corner to go pop another bag of popcorn. "Can you at least act like it's not totally killing you to be here?" You asked, shoving his shoulder lightly. Zayn frowned. "If it were killing me, I could tolerate it. At least I know there would be an end. It's just draining me." He said, fishing inside his jacket for his phone. He found his cigarettes instead, and sighed, decided they were fine too, moving to light one up. "Don't even think about it Zayn." You muttered as he shoved it back into his pocket. "He's boring, __. You know it. Never in my life did I think you would end up with someone who watches the flippin' history channel. You need someone with more spunk." He said, waving his hands around. You rolled your eyes. "He is sweet, and on time, and my mother adores him." You mumbled at the end. "Your Mum can't stand me." Zayn said, biting his lip. You snorted, "Maybe you shouldn't break her window. Or sneak her daughter out." Zayn chuckled, shaking his head, "That was tequilas fault. Both times." he said, laughing. "He's perfect for you actually." Zayn said after a few moments. You blinked towards him for a minute as he sighed. "And that's what pisses me off. I'm not."

Niall: "It's not a big deal, Ni." You said over the loud music, hoping he didn't catch that you were giggling. He must've because he narrowed his eyes at you before rolling them. "It is to me." He grumbled. "He's also bigger than you." You said as consolation, patting his back. He huffed. "Babe, when someone is feeling unmanly at because of another man, try not to bring up even more, better qualities about said man." He said, dropping his head into his hands. "I never said he was better, Niall." You added, shaking your head at the bartender who seemed to wonder if you two needed to be served. Niall was unreasonably being dramatic because your boyfriend and him had taken part in a stupid drinking contest, and your boyfriend won. By one. It was completely typical male stuff, and you can't even believe you're having to comfort him over something this trivial. "It also really doesn't matter." you said, and Niall shook his head. "It does on some level, because you're going home with him tonight, and not me." Niall said into his hands, his face hidden from yours. "Now if you'll excuse me, i am going to drink to forget about all this." He said, pushing himself off the bar and away from you.

Harry: Harry sighed again, still keeping his hands in your hair though. "I know you want to say something." You said as his hand froze for a moment. Even though you were laying on his legs and couldn't see his face, you knew his brows were drawn together in confusion. "No, I'm not saying anything." He mumbled, turning his attention back to the movie. "Ugh. I'm sure you want to say something. This is the third time this month." You said, pushing yourself up to face him. He shook his head, shrugging. "I don't mind." He said with a smile. you huffed, "Well I do! It's not fair to you that whenever we fight I just come crawling over here. Matter of fact I shouldn't even come crawling over here, because we shouldn't fight as often as we do. And he should be comforting me, not you." You rambled out, Harry blinking at you for a moment. "You can always come here, you know that. And that's basically what I was going to say. Minus the you shouldn't come here part, of course." You nodded, slumping back onto his legs. "I was also going to say you deserve so much more." He added quietly.
