when I was in eighth grade I had this magical thing called motivation and I used to do these crazy pmv things with whole songs and all my characters. Now I just do them in my head but somehow I managed to sketch this one out... probably helps that it's... one verse...
Brave Songs is a great song but I also thought it fit Natrina well because she's the most tired mom in the entire universe. As you can tell I gave up/eased up after the first Natrina, but I do think it actually looks like the "maternal" Natrina I started out with. Nat used to be more effeminate/nurturing, similar to a less corrupted version of what Angel is, but then TGD came in and I thought the more analytical/cold Natrina who ended up slowly growing into a maternal archetype after thousands of years of Dealing With Aislyn's Shit was just as good an arc if not a better one. Her design just never reflected that and now I think it does... a little better? I like that I finally decided on what her horns look like even if they'll need fine-tuning. The "hooks" are for Maximum Plant Carriage and the grooves are actually common on older Canii but they also resemble wood and I like that. I like that a lot.
