I might not be taking my time on my ride but I sure as hell am taking my time on Driver's Ed which will at this point go all the way into the summer for me because of crew

Anyways bad twenty one pilots jokes aside for a song of theirs I'm not even particularly fond of, I'm here, I'm queer, and I'm ready to panic. This is ChronaLilly here to remind you that there's both a 'u' and 'i' in suffering.

I wasn't going anywhere with this I swear.

So I was doing a height chart for another auxiliary set of characters

So I was doing a height chart for another auxiliary set of characters. Seriously though I went from one set of human characters (the Amalgams) to nearly a dozen in one year you guys don't even know a good half of them which is good because they're not very developed but

W H A T  A M  I  D O I N G

Anyways I had this great character dynamic and it spiralled into this weird unconventional story

The above characters are actually two sets of characters: from left to right you have North, South, West, and East, which are placeholder names but do relate to their powers/story/etc. in book. North and South die a few decades before West and East are even born.

The general plot is a more character-focused thing with a mildly intriguing setting than anything. Basically over the generations, these demigods with powers based on the four cardinal directions/seasons by extension have been perpetually reincarnated into the general population. The odd thing, though, is that there's no cycles, traditions, or observable reason to when or where they'll appear.

Sometimes they're downright despicable, sometimes they usher in ages of world peace. They've been tested on, praised, reviled, you name it, the works. They've appeared on six out of seven continents, in rich families, in poor ones. You could get one of them, three, all four, two- the only rule is that you can't have duplicates.

What about fakes?

Oh no. You'd know if they were fakes.

The thing is, these guys are legitimately demigods in a world that has no other magic. Their powers are extreme, to the point of leveling city blocks or stopping planes with their bare hands (one instance of East was able to create earthquakes) so it's more up to the rest of the world to just deal with/defend against them.

These are the most recent four, or at least the only ones I've planned out.

From left to right:

North: Tall. Very tall. Abandoned near birth, he's spent most of his life wandering. He's mature for his age, and as he grew acquired an almost otherworldly countenance. Born altruist and huge idol of East's for a long time. He likes people but only from a distance, actual social interaction reveals him as a shy, bumbling dork. He actually does go by North: no one knows what his birth name is.

South: Accidentally burned down her house at the age of thirteen. Was going to kill herself until North stopped her and convinced her to come with him. The arson still haunts her and when it was revealed to the public what she'd done, she pleaded for North to pretend he didn't know and ditch her for the sake of his own reputation. The two of them ended up being out of the public eye a lot less after that.
