Lynn's POV

Piqued and unhesitatingly, Logan trudged off into the burning wilderness, utterly regardless of looming danger or exploding buses.

"Logan!" Storm shouted warningly but he merely continued in his tracks, indifferently and insolently.

"It's getting closer," Rogue noted in an unsettled tone as the earth rocked with heightening intensities.

Behind a veil of dust were two beams of glaring lights—slowly but menacingly advancing. Although the owner of those malicious eyes was still obscured beyond the thick fog, traces of mercy were no more evident than any available signs of peace.

"Come on! Let's keep moving!" Storm zealously commanded.

"Hey, Tin Man. Come here," Logan contradictorily ordered and all the students paused as Peter confidently strutted towards Logan.

"How's your throwing arm?" Logan grilled, definitely with nasty intentions as he sported a wicked smirk and swiftly extended his shiny claws.

"Logan, we work as a team," Storm emphasized but her stern gaze was blatantly ignored by his arrogant eyes.

"Yeah. Good luck with that," Logan scoffed in a selfish tone.

"Throw me. Now," Logan demanded authoritatively, peering up at Peter who was already fully crusted in metal.

"Dammit, Logan, don't do this!" Storm hollered futilely as Peter effortlessly picked Logan up.

Grabbing Logan's torso in his muscular arms, glazed under a polished reflective layer exposed by his sleeveless combat suit, Peter gained some momentum with several rounds of spinning and readily tossed Logan into the atmosphere.

Logan growled ferociously, pointing all six fangs in an attacking formation, as he was energetically flung through the air and soon, his back faded into the blinding haze. Grating swishes ensued in a quick procession but only several lasted before the entire area was snared in a spooky silence.

Suddenly, a roundish spot appeared through the white mist, growing larger and clearer by the minute. The kids instinctively held up their arms in defense and the black ball eventually crashed to their feet as a giant robotic skull brutally ripped from the remainder of its body. As the power in the upgraded Sentinel's head extinguished, Logan swaggered out from behind the grotesque junk and promptly retracted the adamantium into his knuckles.

"Class dismissed," Logan declared pompously and Storm sighed defeatedly, leading the way to the exit, as she discreetly clicked on her earpiece.

"Hey, Colossus. Nice throw," Logan commended in a genuine tone but Peter only reciprocated a jaded smile as the ruins of Manhattan rapidly diminished.

"Simulation complete," the computer announced as the annihilated background was wholly reduced into a sleek hemispherical chamber tiled by a series of identical blue panels.

"What was that?" Storm interrogated as she marched through the circular aperture, angrily tugging off her gloves.

"Danger Room Session," Logan bellowed through the walls concealing me from their plain sight.

"You know what I mean," Storm retaliated agitatedly and the similarly near resonance of her voice suggested Storm's position to have stagnated while various sets of hasty footfalls seemingly scurried past as the kids presumably scrambled away from the brewing feud.

"Lighten up," Logan casually incited.

"You can't change the rules. I'm trying to teach them something," Storm established earnestly.
