Lynn's POV
Lynn, love,
I'm glad to hear you took my advice well.
I'm glad to see you living a little more carefree. But I have to admit, it's odd seeing that it's not me.
Although it wasn't as sour as I thought it'd be.
Especially when I know he makes you genuinely happy. The kids have noticed I'm a little happier.
They smile a little wider.
They laugh a little louder.
They play a little harder.Just like yours, their giggles are adorable.
And it simply sounds like a miracle. It's like their celebrating on my behalf.
But I'm glad they do.
Because then I can actually tell you:
Scott finally asked for Jean's hand.I'm not sure they really dated.
I'm not sure they really were anything more than just ambiguous.
But it doesn't matter.Once he saw my mood was lifted, he took immediate action.
She agreed in a flash and her brainwaves almost woke the entire mansion.I'm imagining their children to be quite a mess.
But I doubt they'd have any yet.
They don't even seem to want a wedding or banquet.
I really don't know what youngsters are up to these days.Whatever it is, I'm going to sleep, hoping the news will bring a smile to your lips.
Good night, my love.
Your dearest Charles.

Lynn, love,
Merry Christmas.
I'm sorry I haven't written in awhile.Please don't think it's because I'm upset you made out.
In fact, it made me laugh aloud.
And I think you'd be proud.
That I'm no longer stuck in that roundabout. The school's just been utterly busy.
We've expanded, expectedly. The kids are flowing in like never before.
I feel like I'm getting old and it's tiring, but it's really what I adore. It's still my passion to help them.
And I know it's still yours.I don't watch you often anymore.
But sometimes I do, just to make sure you're accounted for.I'm glad that you've found true meaning in teaching again.
I'm glad that you've found a new direction in your life again. But I also know that you're still having qualms.
You're worried about not being able to give him what he wants. You think yourself receiving too much grace.
You think him giving you too much faith. You've not changed one bit.
And I think you know, without me even saying it.
