Galra Keith x Lance (Complete)

"LANCE!" The red paladin practically screamed. Keith stretched his arm and hand out to the limit, as they went over the edge, in an attempt to catch any part of Lance he could. I'm going to miss him, I'm not going to catch him! But he just managed to grab one ot the blue paladins ankles while grabbing hold to a branch jutting out of the cliff. Pain erupted in both arms. He felt as though they were being ripped out of their sockets. The red paladin cried out at the agony of it while the other boy was screaming.

"Lance! Grab something, anything!" Keith yelled. He could feel his grip slipping off the branch. If he let go they both plummet to their deaths. If he let go of Lance he could save himself, but what then? The main thing he cared most about in the world would be dead. The red paladin looked down to see Lance trying to grab hold of Keith's hand. The blue paladin felt disgusted with himself. Hanging here, he felt all the regret, pain and anger flood in at once. The Cuban looked up and could see so much pain in the others face. Maybe he would be better without me...

As if Keith had read his thoughts he called out through gritted teeth, "Don't give up on me Lance, we've got to get through this together," he even gave a weak smile. The Cuban just gave a nod back and grabbed​ Keith's hand. The red paladin quickly let go of Lance's ankle, then pulled him up higher so he could also grab the branch. But when the blue paladin put his weight on it, the branch began coming out of the side of the cliff. Crap, no, not know, we really don't need this, Keith thought. He glanced around quickly and spotted and small bit of rock sticking out from the side. If I can just reach it...

"I want you to reach up and pull yourself over the side when I tell you to, ok?" The red paladin ordered. Lance gave a quick nod. "Ok, three, two... ONE! Go now!" As Keith yelled that, he let go of the branch and reached out for the rock. Lance scrambled up and got over the edge. He rolled onto his back taking a deep breath.
"Ok Keith, I'll help you up!" The blue paladin called out. There was no reply. "Keith?" The Cuban looked over edge. Keith was nowhere to be seen. He had missed the rock.
