It was another victory for the Takeda, and the night was livelier than ever. There was a feast and everyone was celebrating in the main hall, laughing and cheering as two very drunken soldiers had a drinking contest with each other.

Well, all but two persons joined the party.

The pale moonlight shone on two lovers, happily cuddling on top of the castle's roof.

"I'm so happy you came back in one piece." The woman said, smiling at her beloved.

"You say that every time.." Her lover, still clad in his work attire, replied. "By now, you should always expect me to be back for you." He said, running a hand through her hair soothingly.

She, in turn, pouted, "Sasuke, if you do that, I'll get sleepy." Was her complain, but she didn't bother to remove the warm hand on her head.

Sasuke laughed and kissed her forehead, "Don't worry, (F/N)-chan. I'll be here to keep you safe while you doze off." He winked at her, and she gave him a yawn in reply.

"That's.. cheating.." (F/N) frowned before nuzzling into her lover's chest.

"Sasuke, (F/N)! Are you two not coming down for the banquet!?" A voice rang out. Without even looking, the two knew it was their lord, Yukimura.

Sasuke sighed, "He never checks if it's the right time to interrupt.."

"Let him look for us for a while... He's bound to give up soon.." (F/N) smiled, gently closing her eyes.

Her lover hummed in agreement before resuming his actions, running his fingers through her hair.

It was times like these that made them forget about the chaos ravaging the land.
