The problem with Andy, he doesn't think he does anything wrong. I knew it was wrong to keep that man in that outhouse, especially since we took the chance of him escaping. Which he did end up escaping. I glanced out the window and sighed.
"Wynter, we have to talk." I heard Andy creek open my door.
"About what?" I turned around and looked at him.
He had a black bag across his shoulder and his boots on, along with a sweatshirt with the words Bengals on them. I noticed he cut his hair as well, which was now in a spiky quiff.
"What's going?" I asked, standing up. "And your ha-"
"I'm going out to find that kid we kidnapped."
"What? Firstly, you kidnapped him, not me. Second, no way! We are not going back out there again." I answered.
"That's why I'm going." he sighed.
"No, Andy. We're not splitting up." I walked up to my room.
"Where are you going?" he shouted from downstairs.
"To get ready. I'm coming with you now." I responded and started pulling out my bag.
"What?!" I heard heavy thumps that led up to my room. "You are not coming with me."
He reached over and pulled my bag away from me.
"Well, too bad because I am." I took it back and started stuffing more clothes in it along with my flashlight and matches.
"I said no." he stopped me in front of my door.
"Good thing you're not the boss of me." I pushed him out of the way and took the car keys from his hand.
"No, no." he took it back.
I angrily ripped it out of his hands and slipped my combat boots on. I walked out as I put my jacket on and beeped the car to unlock it.
"Why can't you listen to me?" he ran up and glared at me.
"Because I can do whatever I want." I opened the driver's door and Andy slammed it on me.
"I drive if you come." he declared.
"Or I can drive and you can sit in the passenger seat," I smirked and opened the door once again. I jumped in and fixed the seat for myself.
"Since when did you have the balls to talk back to me?" he laughed.
"Since now," I answered.
"Wow, I'm guessing us having sex really changed you."
"Andy!" I glared at him furiously.
"What? I was just joking." he shrugged.
"Whatever." I inserted the key into the ignition. The engine roared to life and I put in reverse and started to back up.
"I didn't mean to hurt you earlier." he soundly said. "You know that right?"
I nodded and didn't answer. What type of relationship did we have? If anyone saw us, they would think Andy was abusive. I mean, he's really not. Sometimes we accidentally hit the ones we love, right? Or maybe I have just persuaded that way because of Andy.
"Wynter?" his voice rang in my ears.
"Yeah, what?" I mumbled as I focused on the road.
"You never responded back to me."
Maybe because I don't want to.
"I just rather talk about it some other time," I answered.
"Why not now? We have all the time in the world." He said in a more angry tone.
"Because I just don't want to talk about it. Is that so bad?" I raised my voice at him.
"No, we just need to talk about it now."
"I don't want to, Andy."
"Just c-"
"Then answer this, Andy. Why are you so abusive to me? Couples don't hurt each other. Remember my neck? When you actually almost killed me? Remember when you hurt me that one time you were drunk and almost forced yourself on me and when I said no you hit me in the face? Remember when you almost broke my wrist, Andy? Remember that!?" I shouted in his face.
"You know I'm sor-"
"Sorry doesn't solve things. This isn't how a relationship is supposed to be. You're supposed to be the one protecting me from harm, not creating it." I demanded.
"So this is all my fault?" he answered back.
I couldn't believe this. Here we go fighting again.
"Actually yes it is," I mumbled as I pushed on the gas pedal harder.
"How is it my fault?"
"Because you're abusive Andy! You're like one of those rebels." I told him and I saw something flash in his eyes.
The one thing I've been terrified of since I met him.
"What did you just say?" his voice was deep and not the hot kind of deep.
I looked at him and nodded.
"You heard me." the word left my mouth and I knew I was going to regret it.
"Don't you dare," he took a deep breath in. "Compare me to those things. I am nothing like them."
"With the way you're acting, you might as well just join them," I mumbled.
I felt the tension rise in the car and Andy pulled my hands off the steering wheel.
"Andy!" the car begin to head towards a lake that I was driving a side of.
Before I knew it, the car had plunged into the water and we were trapped inside. Along with that, one of the windows was open and the car begins to fill up with water.
"Shit, shit." Andy mumbled. "I thought maybe you would press the break."
Andy looked around and pulled off one of the car seat's headrest which happened to have a sharp end.
"Maybe if you were smart and didn't attack me."
"I didn't attack you." he mumbled and began to bang the window over and over.
A crack begin to show and Andy looked to me.
"Hold your breath." and with that he swung once more and it cracked completely. The water rushed in faster than I thought and I was surrounded by water. I went to swim up, but my seatbelt was stuck. I held my breath, which I started to begin to run out of.
Oh no, I'm going to die!
I used my last breath to scream out as I saw Andy swim farther and farther away from me.
No, this can't happen.
I begin to suffocate from lack of oxygen and my heart was racing. Please, no...
Darkness took over me.
Sorry for the slow updates :(((
