Trolls Continued: Branch And Poppy

[69] I Have To Fix This.

"Poppy?" a voice asked.

Poppy was startled. She had thought she was alone in the forest. But it turns out, she wasn't.

"What's wrong?" Creek asked her.

"It's just....Branch and I had a fight a couple hours ago," Poppy cracked out.

"Poppy," Creek said. "I don't think that I'm the only one that's noticed you and Branch are always fighting."

"Well, we always end up making up, and that's enough. Every couple has fights, right?"

"Yes, but you guys fight way too much," Creek said.

Poppy fought back. "Well, we don't, and Creek, if you don't remember, most of the fights are because of you, if you didn't notice."

Creek then put his head down. "Oh......"

Poppy soon realized what she had said and gripped her hand onto his.

Creek felt the roughness of a diamond brush on his hand. He looked down at the ring and then at Poppy. "Um....Poppy?"

She then noticed it too. She pulled away from him, and fell to the ground. Tears spilled out from her eyes.

Creek rubbed her back. "Poppy....."

Poppy looked at him. Her face was covered in tears. "I've made a huge mistake!!"

"It's okay-"

"It's not! I'm going to find Branch!! I have to fix this!!"
