Panic Attack

"Marinette! Oh my gosh girl you need to see my new video on the LadyBlog!" Alya said excited jumping on her toes a little.

"Okay okay." Marinette giggled pulling out her phone. She watched the video and it was an interview with Snow.

"Wait so say it again, you said there was a Ladybug in Scotland?! As in the amazing super heroine?!" Alya squealed in the video. Snow nervously nodded.

"A few decades ago. She disappeared and then soon after...her Chat Noir disappeared. Rumors had it he gave up his miraculous and went into hiding others say he died. I don't believe either of those." She admitted.

"Okay three more questions." Alya said to her. She nodded.

"Okay first, do you know what happened to that Ladybug?"

"No. A million rumors though." She responded.

"Is it a possibility that Paris' Ladybug could be the one that disappeared in Scotland?"

"Not likely, our Ladybug looked very different from this one. Different hair color. Different eye color."

"Okay so last one, why don't you believe the rumors of Scotland's Chat Noir disappearance?" Alya asked curious. Snow hesitated and thought for a second.

"I-I think he went to look for his Ladybug." Snow explained. After that Alya said her signature goodbye and the video ended.

"Cool." Marinette said putting her phone in her bag.

"Cool? It's miraculous!" Alya squealed. Marinette chuckled at her friend's enthusiasm as they walked to class.

Everyone arrived to class and Marinette didn't look up once from her phone, scared to make eye contact with either cold blue eyes full of hatred or warm green eyes filled with concern and kindness.

Snow walked into the room and got a wave from Alya, Rose, Juleka, Max, Nino, and Alix. She's made a lot of friends since she arrived, she was a nice and friendly kind of person. She sat down beside Nathanael and started talking to him. She liked Nathanael's spirit, he's very sweet and kind. The teacher came in and class started.

"Okay so now we will be working on a group project. Here are the rubrics and I will now call out who you will be working with. No complaints, no switching." Ms. Bustier said passing out papers.

"Rose, Nathanael, Juleka, Lila, Ivan, and Alix. Chloe, Sabrina, Max, Kim, and Mylene. Nino, Adrien, Snow, Marinette, and Alya. You may use the last 20 minutes of class to start." Everyone got into their groups. The boys stayed in their spot, just turned around to face the girls. Snow came down and stood at the end of the desk.

"Okay, Snow this is my bestie Marinette. Marinette this is Snow." Alya gesturing back and forth to them. "You've met Nino. And pretty boy over there," Alya gestured over to Adrien and rolled her eyes,"that's Adrien."

"Nice to meet y'all." Snow smiled. They started on the project and then Marinette started to pick up with what Chloe was saying a few feet away.

"Yeah. Apparently her parents left for China without her. I bet they won't come back. Who would? It's just Marinette. Nothing special, nothing worth coming back for." Chloe scoffed. Adrien glared at her.

'What if they don't come back? What if they left to get away from me? Was helping my grandparents just an excuse? Do they want to start over? Without me? What if they stay and start a new life, have another kid to replace me? What if Alya left me? What if Chat Noir left? My other friends? I can't breathe.' Marinette thought.
