Helena's POV

"Your father is on the line. He said he's been calling you," I knocked on Justin's office door, knowing he probably didn't hear anything that I said. "Justin," I knocked again after a few seconds.

When the door finally opened, the face that met mine looked like it had gone to hell and back. There were dark circles around his eyes, which also hung very low and his nose was red like a tomato. I actually hadn't seen him all day, so I was really surprised with his appearance. "What's up?" he rasped.

I tried to get a look inside to see if he had company, most likely Victoria, but he barely had the door open. "I said your father is on the line. You haven't been answering your phone..."

"I-um-" he closed his eyes for a few seconds before stepping back and turning his head away as he sneezed. "Sorry," his lips curved down into a pout when he looked at me again. "What were you saying?"

"Your father...never mind, I'll take care of it. You should go home, Justin."

"No, I-I have work to do. I need to get this deal sealed," he suddenly looked anxious and I felt bad. I have never seen him like this before. He cleared his throat, "I'm fine." I would have almost believed that if he hadn't immediately sneezed three times in a row. "I'm gonna get back to working."

"No Justin, please go home and get some rest. You can't work well like this," I tried to say in the nicest way possible. "You're sick and your head isn't where it should be."

He sniffled and blinked his eyes a few times then slowly nodded his head, "I'm sorry."

"There's nothing for you to be sorry about. You shouldn't be stressing yourself out. I'll get Asher on this, okay?"

"I like him," Justin sent me a small smile and I couldn't help myself from doing the same. "Yeah, okay."

"Alright, can you just go now or?"

He patted his dress pants, "I have my phone and keys here, my wallet is in my back pocket."

"Okay, I'll disinfect and lock up your office after we get you to your car," I chuckled as his eyes started to flutter. He must have been out like a light before I knocked on the door.

"You don't have to walk me," he shook his head as I pulled on his arm.

"Yes, I do. I don't need you touching anything on your way out," I scrunched up my nose.

"But the baby, I don't want to get you two sick," Justin pouted his lips again as we walked toward the elevator. "I can walk myself out, Helena. Really, I'm fine."

"You can say all you want to convince me that you're fine, but I'm still going to walk you to your car," I pressed the down arrow on the control panel. "I'm calling Vic-"

"No," he said a little louder than I think he meant to, causing staff to look our way. "Please, don't tell her I'm sick," his voice was lower.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "Why not?"

"She'll be mad at me because I didn't listen to her."
