"What do you say we go for a picnic today? Just the 2 of us? A date? In the back courtyard? How about that for our Christmas lunch?" Cedric asked. You stopped, leaning against the wall, trying to catch your breath. Cedric rushed back, his eyes full of concern. His hands rushed over your arms in fleeting movements as you shook your head.
"I'm all right, Ced. Just give me a moment. I'm still recovering from all that time away. Don't worry," you replied, pushing away from the wall and wrapping your arms around him. He smiled, his arms encasing your waist. He kissed you lightly.
"So? About that picnic?" He asked again, a dazzling smile playing on his lips. You sighed against him, averting your eyes. You felt so bad saying no.
"I would love to, but I told Fred and George I'd spend the day with them. I'm so sorry. Can we have dinner together? In the Astronomy Tower? Oh, wait. I told Matt I'd have dinner with him and Adrian and Terence. God, I'm so sorry!" Cedric's smile fell slightly, but he nodded.
"No, I get it! Your boys want some time with you too! I get that I have to share you! But I'd still like to have dinner with you, it's Christmas. Could we all have dinner in the astronomy tower tonight? Or would your Slytherins not want to have dinner with me?"
"Of course we can! I'd love to have dinner with all of you! Besides you're right, it's Christmas and I want to be with my family! And you are my family! I mean we're going to be married someday! And if they have a problem with it then I don't know why I'm having dinner with them in the first place. I'll meet you up there at 6:30," you said gently.
"All right. Let me walk you to the Gryffindor Common Room. I don't want anything to happen to you," he sighed as he gripped your hand, tightly. You nodded and leaned your head on his shoulder as you walked towards the Gryffindor Common Room.

                                  -Time Skip-

"Hey (Y/N/N)! We missed you! We're so glad you decided to spend Christmas with us!" George exclaimed as they both pulled you toward the couches.
"Yeah, I'm glad we're getting this time! But I have to get back to the my own Common Room at 5. I'm having dinner with my brother and Terence and Adrian. But we still have a few hours together!" You sighed sitting down.
"Of course you do! Always having time for others but never us! Where were you all morning? We were expecting you sooner!" Fred asked.
"Let me guess? With your precious Pretty-Boy? Did you sleep well? Or were you up all night? I thought we told you to make good decisions," George teased, wiggling his eyebrows. You rolled your eyes in annoyance, sighing exasperatedly.
"Stop it! Leave him out of this! I didn't come here to discuss my boyfriend and besides, it's none of your business! So stop meddling!" You exclaimed. George smirked as Fred huffed.
"Fine! If you don't want to talk about your baby, what do you want to talk about? Oh, we have to give you your Christmas presents!" They got up and ran towards the boy dormitories, without another word, leaving you alone in the Common Room.
You sat there, unsure of what to do as many of the Gryffindors kept sending you nervous glances. You closed your eyes, trying to regain your thoughts. The cushion next to you sank, as someone sat down. You opened your eyes immediately, expecting to see the pair of red heads, but instead you were met by a face that was all too familiar. Oliver Wood.
"If you're here to yell at me about freezing the Quidditch matches for a few months then I want you to know that it wasn't my frickin' fault," you snapped. Oliver winced as if the thought of the games being cancled physically pained him.
"No, that's not why I'm here. I wanted to ask how you were doing. I heard what happened and it's a really serious thing. So, how are you?"
"I don't know. I'm still having nightmares and I feel like he's going to come back. I don't know what to think anymore. I just want to forget about what happened and just focus on everything else. Things that are more positive in my life. You know?" He nodded seriously.
"Yeah, I know. And while I was a little upset about the matches being rescheduled I don't blame you at all!" He replied earnestly.
"Wow! Thanks Oliver, that makes me feel loads better, now that all that weight's been lifted off my shoulders," you said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes.
"What I mean to say, is I'm sorry you were...well...you know. But don't worry Middlebrook, we'll go easy on you after all that you've been through." You snorted, making him frown, deeply. You shook your head.
"As if I need you to take it easy on me! I may've been kidnapped but that didn't effect my Quidditch skills. Trust me I can still kick your ass! And my team is still going to win the Quidditch cup for the 8th time in a row!"
"You wish! My seeker's just got a new broom! And you've seen him play! You've seen him kick Malfoy's ass many times over again!" Oliver snapped.
"Yeah, I've seen him play! But I've also seen you and your team lose the past 2 years! The Slytherins are going to win!" Oliver shook his head angrily, as he got up and stormed away you. You rolled your eyes just as the Golden Trio walked through the portrait hole. Harry saw you and gasped, rushing over to you, and enveloping you in a hug.
You hugged him back awkwardly as Ron and Hermione smiled at you, shyly. You nodded and pulled away, just as Fred and George came running back down the stairs, their arms full of gifts for you. Harry looked from them to you and asked, "Hey? Can we talk for a minute?"
