Lilith walked down to his cell, hoping he would let her go near him. After only one week, he was sleeping better, eating better, and starting to talk a little more. She had managed to keep full conversations with him and when the doctor came to speak with him, he had asked her to stay with him. However, he still wouldn't let her touch him, he was still afraid he would hurt her. She stopped in front of his cell, smiling when she saw he was able to shower. He leaning against the wall, staring up at the ceiling with a faraway look in his eyes.

"How are you feeling?" she asked, unlocking the cell door.

He snapped his eyes to her, the ghost of a smile appeared on his face. "Better, how is everything?"

"Well, besides the loads of drama, I guess it's okay." she sighed.

She wanted to tell him that she missed him, that she wanted to spend time with him, to work on their relationship again. She wasn't sure though, she didn't want him to take it as her wanting to accept him as her mate again. She just wanted to know more about him, to have him realize he does have a friend. Even so, she couldn't ignore the butterflies in her stomach when she saw him, or the skip in her heart beat when he would speak or how she loved the sound of his voice. She loved seeing his eyes light up whenever he saw her or how she seemed to be the only one he kept a long conversation with. She had already blocked the bond, so, she knew it wasn't her wolf's feelings. They were her's.

"You blocked the bond." he suddenly stated. "I can feel it..."

"I...I wanted to make sure what I feel isn't my wolf's emotions." she replied.

He frowned, "What you feel?"

She hesitated, "I...um, I just...it's hard to explain."

"You care about me?" he whispered.

"Yes, I do."

He frowned, "Oh."

It was silent for a few seconds before she bit her lip and looked at him, "I don't even know if it's just me caring anymore...it may be something more."

Seth sighed as he walked out of his office, following behind him was a tired Lilianna. "So, how many more documents do we have to read?"

He chuckled, "Not much, but you miss, are going to bed."

"No, I want to spend the night with you."

"Baby, I'm sleeping with you." he laughed.

"Oh, yeah."

He rolled his eyes before picking her up, as he carried her, she looked at his face. The claw marks were almost healed, but they were becoming scars. It twisted her heart when she saw it, they should get scars from battles and rogues, not from each other. She caused him to have this scar and no matter what he said, she would never forgive herself for it.

"Honey, the reason it's scarring is because I accidentally reopened it six times." Seth said, already knowing what was going through her head.

She sighed, "But-

"No. Stop ripping yourself a part, it's okay." he whispered, kissing her on the forehead.

He laid her on their bed before crawling in beside her, she immediately curled up against him and wrapped her arms around his waist. He smiled, he planted a soft kiss on her temple before running his fingers through her hair. His smile grew when she fell asleep, completely relaxed in his arms.

"I love you, baby girl." he whispered as he turned off the light.

As the moon shined through the cell window, Lilith realized how cold it would get. When Kaden sneezed, she snapped her attention over to him. He was curled up in the corner, sleeping. After an hour of talking, he asked her if she could stay with him, he didn't like being alone in the dark. He was shivering under the one, thin blanket, she wasn't surprised that he was catching a cold.

She made another blanket appear before grabbing it and gently wrapping it around him. He stiffened when she touched him, his eyes snapped open, but this time he didn't shrink away from her. Instead, he watched her, his eyes shining with fear. She was confused by the fear in him, she only saw fear like that in someone who was with their abuser. However, this time, he was the abuser and she was the victim. Yet,  he was terrified and she wasn't.

He's terrified of himself. she thought.

She smiled at before making sure he was warm, he frowned when he saw her shiver, even though she was wearing a thick jacket.

"You should go back to the packhouse, it'll be warmer there." he said.

She looked up, "You won't flip out?"

He bit his lip, "No, I'll be fine."

She shook her head in disbelief, "The guards have been telling me how you don't sleep at night. You've always been afraid of the dark, I don't blame you though. It is quite the mysterious thing."

"I was told I was childish and immature because of it." he whispered.

"Let me guess, Ariel told you that." she stated.

He noticed the hint of jealousy and hatred in her tone, he frowned. "I don't love her."

"Not anymore."

He released a breath, "I'm sorry."

She frowned before she gently stroked his cheek, "I'm not going to blame you for your feelings. It was in the past."

He smiled before he started to fall asleep again, "I hope you're my future."

She froze as he fell asleep, under her spell of course. She sat there for a few more minutes, unable to form normal thoughts. Those words made her heart swell and made her feel things that she didn't know she could feel.

She leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek, "And I hope you're mine."

A/N: Awe, Lilith is falling for Kaden again.
