Imagine Jeremy finds out you're being bullied at school
You've always been a shy girl, and for that reason, some boys at school took advantage of it and picked on you. They were the typical big bad bullies that nearly every student despised. You were an easy target for them since you never fought back or did anything to stop them. Thus, they kept on bullying you, thinking they would never get in trouble.
You never stood up for yourself or confronted them simply because you feared that if you ever said something to those who bullied you, it would only aggravate the situation. They weren't even worth wasting your breath, so you just chose to ignore them and hoped that they would eventually leave you alone, but they didn't. Whenever they saw you, they called you names, teased you, made fun of you or humiliated you in front of everyone just for their own pleasure. Despite the pain you felt, you kept your head held high and put on a fake smile, pretending not to care, although deep down, you knew you did.
You tried as much as possible to avoid your bullies at school, however, you would always bump into them in the hallways. They harassed you on a daily basis that at this point, you grew used to it and you learned to live with it, but it still didn't make the situation any better. Every word they ever said to you were cemented into your head, and even though you strove to erase them from your memory, you couldn't manage to.
It had quite affected you a lot. You weren't as happy as you used to be, and even Jeremy started to notice that. However, you never spoke about your issue, mostly because you didn't want to sound like a whinny little girl who couldn't even defend herself against two bullies. You weren't one to share your feelings or discuss your problems to people, which was why none of your friends were aware of what you were going through.
You were tired of being constantly put down, but you still kept going. Falling apart in front of your bullies would be the worst-case scenario, and you certainly couldn't let that happen. You vowed to stay strong, no matter what. You needed to prove them that their words meant nothing to you. You wouldn't give them the satisfaction and pleasure of watching you break down.
So far, you were having a good day. Everything seemed to go great, but you had the foreboding that it wouldn't last for long. There was always someone or something that killed your mood, but you still endeavored to focus on positive thoughts.
You walked down the hallways when you saw your bullies coming in your direction. You cursed under your breath and dropped your head down, praying they wouldn't notice you. You proceeded on walking, but you accidentally hit one of them with your shoulder as you brushed past next to them.
"Watch where you're going." He said coldly.
He threw your backpack on the floor and watched as you bent down to pick it up. You were about to stand up when you felt a cold liquid dripping down on you. They had poured iced coffee over your head.
You gasped as the two boys laughed uncontrollably, pointing at you and drawing all the attention. Their laughter rang in your head, and you could feel tears brimming in your eyes. You strove to hold them back, but somehow, they still managed to escape and trickled down your cheeks.
You grabbed your backpack from the ground and quickly made your way to the bathroom.
"Y/N!" Jeremy shouted.
You froze as your heard him call your name. You turned away from him and quickly ran off before he could catch you, because you obviously didn't want him to see you crying.

After school, Jeremy decided to head to your house to talk to you. You were lingering in the living room when you heard the ring bell. You got up and opened the door, revealing Jeremy's beautiful face.
"Hey, I was just wanted to know what's wrong." He said, clearly concerned.
"Everything is fine." You lied.
"You've been avoiding me all day. Clearly something's up. You know you can tell me anything."
You sighed and dragged him inside. You knew he would insist until you told him what was wrong so you finally decided to reveal the truth. You poured your heart out to him and explained him everything that had been going on for the past few months. He listened carefully and comforted you, washing all your worries away.
Jeremy was really protective over you. Indeed, he couldn't even bear the mere thought of anyone hurting you, whether it was physically or verbally. He hated to see you unhappy. When he found out that some petty boys bullied you, he felt angry, sad, but most of all, guilty because he let you deal with this alone. He was also mad at you for not telling him about this situation earlier.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" Jeremy asked.
"I didn't want to make a big deal out of it."
"Well, it is kind of a big deal. What those dicks did to you is wrong and I won't let them get away with that."
"What are you gonna do? Kill them?" You joked.
"If necessary."
You giggled and rested your head on his shoulder, enjoying the moment you were having with him. The silence fell, until Jeremy spoke up.
"Don't listen to what those idiots say to you, okay? They have nothing to do with their lives so they pick on you. You're an amazing person, don't let them tear you down. And remember you can always tell me when there's something going on. You can trust me, I'm your best friend. I will always be here for you."
You broke into a smile and engulfed him into a tight hug.
"Thank you, Jer. I don't know what I would do without you."
The next day at school, Jeremy stuck around and didn't leave your side in case the bullies came to you. And just as you expected, they did. You were rummaging through your locker when a boy purposely pushed you and threw your phone on the floor.
"Nice phone. Does it ever ring?"
Jeremy, who stood next to you, tensed up and was about to jump on the guy, but you told him to remain calm.
"Leave her alone, dick." Jeremy grumbled.
"Aw, you brought a body guard with you, that's cute."
Jeremy sighed deeply and violently shoved him against the lockers, lifting him up by his shirt.
"You don't get to treat her like that!" He yelled.
He punched him in the stomach as you repeatedly called out Jeremy's name and begged him to stop. Although the bullies did deserve it, you didn't want Jeremy to get in trouble because of you.
Another guy came up behind Jeremy and attempted to hit him, but your best friend easily dodged him. Everyone in the hallways stood there and watched the fight, mouths gaping. Some were cheering up whereas others looked afraid of Jeremy, but either way, he had monopolized all the attention to him without even realizing it. Jeremy eventually let go the two boys, who collapsed on the floor and groaned in pain.
"Say another thing to her and I swear I will kill you both. That's why you should never mess with me." Jeremy spat, earning a round of applause from the students.
Jeremy got suspended for a few days after this fight, but at least, from now on, no one ever dared to lay a hand on you. Everything went back to normal and you were finally happy, all thanks to Jeremy.
