Imagine having a snowball fight with Kai and your daughter

On this cold day of December, you stayed home and watched yet another Disney movie with your four years old child as she suggested. You weren't really paying attention because you've already seen all of them, at least a hundred times, and you knew each scenes by heart. However, your daughter still insisted that you keep her company and obviously you couldn't say no to her. She loved fairy tales, it was almost an obsession, and it seemed like she felt the need to share her passion to everyone. She owned a panoply of DVD's and books about princesses, which crammed the shelf in her room. And whenever you would take her to the store, she would add another Disney-related item to her collection.

Thus, you lounged on the couch, muffled in a blanket, while being forced to keep your eyes glued to the television. Usually, during the winter time, you preferred to nestle indoors and shelter yourself from the cold. You rarely ever stepped foot outside the house when this season came. At the same time, it gave an occasion to your daughter to organize a family movie night.

"Hot chocolate for my girls." Kai grinned, handing the both of you a Christmas mug.

You thanked him and sipped your warm beverage. Your husband often surprised you with scrumptious meals or any other type of drink since he loved to cook and you loved to taste his concoctions. He was like your personal chef.

Kai kissed your cheek and glimpsed at the television with a frown.

"Oh, you're watching another Disney movie. What a surprise." He said sarcastically.

"Well, I'm not going to bother you any longer." He declared, trying to slip away before your daughter could ask him to join her. But it was too late, she had already pronounced the words.

"Come watch with us, Dad." She suggested.

He heaved a sigh and glanced at her with a forced smile plastered on his face, before finally nodding his head after a second of hesitation. He couldn't manage to decline her offer because he knew it would break her heart and he hated to see her pine. You smiled in amusement as you read his facial expression. You could tell he was far from enthusiast, considering he despised animated movies. However, he kept his discontent to himself and agreed to sit with you on the couch, pretending to enjoy the film for the sake of your daughter.

"How long does it lasts?" He whispered, draping his arm around your shoulder.

"Almost two hours."

"Great, two hours of torture." He mumbled.

"So dramatic!" You blurted out, imitating him.

"Hey, don't steal my lines."

"Shhhh!" Your child grunted, tired to hear you both talk.

"You have a cream mustache by the way." He said quietly.

"What?"

He chuckled and wiped off the whipped cream off your upper lip.

"I have a mustache too!" Your girl cheered, earning a chuckle from you and Kai.

She giggled and licked the cream off her face, focusing back on the screen in front of her.

You continued to 'watch' the movie, and Kai eventually fell asleep after the first twenty minutes since anything that's not related to food bores him.

"Dad?"

You nudged him, causing him to abruptly arouse.

"Were you watching the movie?" Your girl inquired.
