//THE FORCE AWAKENS IS OUT!!!!! Also, soft ball just started so updates will probably be more rare than they already are...I have said this so many times but even though i know the plot, im just completely bullshitting everything. Most authors sit and plan out each chapter, and then go through and perfect and revise and shit but i just fuckin go for it. THis literally only took me an hour to write. I am a suffering man and these are my suffering hands. Also i love all of you thank you for reading!!!!!!//
Palpetine was getting desperate, as much as he would show. He was pushing Vader now, whispering taunts to him as if he was his conscience. Vader was notified immediately that Abilene had applied to be apart of the Storm trooper program. He knew that she was planning something. The clock was ticking oddly loud now that Abilene was setting her plan into action, Vader noticed. He knew he had to do it soon, or it would be too late. He kept pushing it away, hoping that that would somehow halt the hand, or sword, of fate. He kept to himself more than usual, acted out less (which either calmed some of the officers, or set them on edge). He was restless, letting his emotions come over him rather than push them away. He allowed himself to cry when he was alone in his chamber of freedom. He loved her, and she was slipping away from him. She was afraid of him, he knew. He wouldn't be surprised if the mark of their past conversations has faded away, meaning nothing to her. He had been doing that lately, endlessly putting himself down and getting discouraged. He was certain that he could not follow out the emperor's order.
Over the next few weeks, Abilene grew impatient waiting for some letter of acceptance or rejection. And every time she thought of being accepted, her stomach would flip with the idea that Vader might be forced to acknowledge her. She rarely ate, and rarely talked to either of her only friends. She used them to take her mind off of Anakin, thinking of when they all first met, when Carter and Aaron still went by an assortment of letters and numbers. When she trusted them enough, she told them her real name. Of course, she did not tell them her association with Anakin, and simply lied saying that she had found her file while doing looking through the files of those who had gone through the storm trooper program. Thankfully, they bought it. They had the thirst for a real name after hearing about Abilene, and with a rush of rebellious excitement, picked names for each other. Abilene was originally friends with only Aaron, but Carter was so keen on catching her attention, it was hard to keep him away for very long. Thinking about her name forced her to think about how she got it, and where she got it. Tattooine. Her planet which she did not quite remember. Her only friend the dark lord Vader. She pictured Aaron and Carter's reaction to finding out that she was in cahoots with Vader.
Abilene sat still with her back straight and her hands palm up on her knees. Her eyes were closed and she had cleared her mind of all thought. She found it easier to think of nothing, because for some reason, everything she thought about brought her back to Anakin- the slave boy who fell in love with a queen and in vein tried to save her life by turning to the dark side. She pushed the thoughts of Anakin laying with another woman to the back of her mind, focusing only on her breathing and heart beat, which had sped up. She was so focused on the nothingness that she began to feel as though she was surrounded by nothing, and found it hard to indicate left and right, and up and down, and which way she was facing.
Her eyes snapped open at a loud banging on her door. She stood up quickly, striding across the room and to the door. Opening the door, she came face to face with a Storm Trooper. She did not know if she expected it to be Anakin or not.
"I was requested to deliver a message." The storm trooper shoved an envelope into her hand and walked away without another word. She was taken back for a moment. She had spent most of her time with the storm troopers, on multiple shifts, and most had been kind in some way to her. She did not recognize the voice of this trooper, and he seemed to have not the slightest idea of who she was either.
