TMNT 2012: Mikey's Transformation (Mikey into human story)

Icecream Kitty!!!!

Mikey's POV:

As I grabbed a pizza slice from the fridge I heard something odd come from the freezer. It sounded like something was moving around in there. I closed the fridge door and stared at the freezer door. I listened......there was more movement! I quickly grabbed the closest thing there was (which was a spatula) and got into a fighting stance. I slowly reached for the freezer handle, my mind racing with ideas of what could be inside. A monster? A squirrel? A mutant pizza?!?! I swung the freezer door open to reveal a blob of icecream that was moving around. I screamed, and slammed the freezer door shut and ran to the other end of the room. The turtles and Splinter came rushing in while I was hiding under the table.

"Mikey what's wrong?!" Raph asked. I peeked from under the table.

"Dude you really need to clean out your freezer! You got a living blob of icecream in there! It's gonna eat us all! Or worse, the pizza!" I said. The all looked at me with smiles on their faces.

"What? I'm not lying look!" I told them.

"No, we believe you but that isn't a blob of living icecream, well it is, but its a not a blob. It's a cat." Leo told me. I looked at him, confused, then I jumped out from under the table excitedly.

"A cat? I love kitties! And he's made of icecream? AWESOME!" I smiled.

"Icecream Kitty is actually a she, but yeah. Check it out for yourself." Donnie said, pointing to the freezer. I happily ran to the freezer and swung it open to see the blob of icecream again. Then, a pink cat head rose and looked at me.

"AWWWW! She's so cute with her little tail, and OH MY GOSH SHE'S CLAWING MY FACE OFF!" I yelled, jumping back from the icecream cat that was swiping her claws at me. She looked at me angrily and hissed at me. My brothers looked at Icecream Kitty, very surprised.

"Icecream Kitty, that's Mikey!" Raph said to the mutant cat. Icecream Kitty looked at Raph, looked at me angrily, and slammed the freezer door shut while hissing at me. Never thought Neapolitan Icecream would actually slam a door in my face...... I got up and looked at them all.

"Uh, I'm guessing she never liked me much." I said.

"Not at all! You and Icecream Kitty were best friends! April rescued a cat on the streets, and you accidentally mutated her with the icecream you were eating. She even saved us from the Rat King. Ever since then she was your pet, and you played with her a lot!" Donnie said.

"Then why would she claw and hiss at me?" I asked, not really wanting to ask about the Rat King part.

"It seems that Icecream Kitty doesn't recognize you. She has been agitated ever since you went missing." Master Splinter explained.

"Oh." I said, looking down at my hands again. If I was still a turtle, everything would be different.

"C'mon, let's go to the dojo. You haven't trained in months now and you need to pick it up!" Raph smiled, bringing me over to the dojo.

We trained for hours and even though I had no idea why Raph, Leo and Donnie always said, "Hai Sensei!" and why we sat down with our eyes closed in complete silence for 10 straight minutes, it was really fun. I knew how to fight, but I was no where as good as Raph or Leo or Donnie. Donnie said that muscle memory made me remember some of my fighting skills but not all but he also said that they will be easy to relearn them. Sensei said that I would be able to catch up in a matter of no time, which gave me hope.

"Alright. Now we'll do one on one. Raphael against Leonardo and Donatello against Michelangelo." He said. I got in a fighting position with my nunchucks in front of Donnie. In the corner of my eye I could see Raph and Leo doing the same thing Donnie and I were doing. Raph and Leo started, and Donnie ran at me with his Bo Staff. I managed to jump over him and kick him on the side. Donnie easily caught himself and ran at me again. I dodged most of his attacks, and deflected the rest with my nunchucks. Right when I was about to attack him, Donnie leaned on his Bo Staff, jumped up, and kicked me right in the stomach sending me back. Donnie could kick hard! I fell to the ground, holding my stomach. I didn't get up, I needed a minute. Raph and Leo stopped, and they all came towards me.

"Mikey are you alright?"

"Why'd you have to hit him so hard Donnie?" Raph yelled at him.

"I didn't! I fought him like I usually did! I didn't think I kicked that hard!" Donnie said. I held my stomach for another moment. Part of my wanted to throw up, and the other want to roll over and let the pain pass. I chose the second option.

"Well obviously you did!" Raph yelled.

"I think I know what happened. I did kick like I usually do but it hurt Mikey this much this time because he doesn't have his shell. His shell helped protected him but now he has no shell." Donnie explained. Finally the pained passed, and I got up.

"Man Donnie, remind me to not play kick ball with you." I joked. Donnie smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry about that Mikey. I wasn't thinking." Donnie said.

"It's fine Donnie."

"Training is over for today. You all may go." Master Splinter said. Leo, Raph and Donnie bowed and said "Hai Sensei" in complete unison and left the room. I just stood there awkwardly for a moment, not knowing that's what we usually did.

"Uh.......Hi Sensei?" I said and awkwardly walked out of the room.
