Synopsis: His song recommendations on his blog were always there to put a smile on your face. Now if only you could find out who the mysterious blogger was.

A/N: Merry Late Christmas! I'm sorry for barely updating this blog. I had a huge writer's block and school got in the way! But I'm back! Hopefully. Anyways, the summary of this story sucks but I promise it's going to be better than what it sounds! Also, please listen to this while reading or... when you get to a certain part. You'll know. Okay bye!

You didn't know why you decided to sign up for a Creative Writing class at your university. It wasn't like you were ever going to become an author or something. Maybe it was just something you chose to do because it would give you those extra 3 credit hours that would bring you to 15 credits to consider yourself a full-time college student. Or maybe it was because it was an "easy A" class and you wanted your GPA as high as you could get it as a 2nd year college student. That, or maybe it was because the General Ed class you needed was to its capacity and Creative Writing was the only thing left that caught your attention.
Either way, you didn't expect the classroom to be in a lecture hall filled with almost 200 students. You were expecting a small classroom with maybe 15 students in it not this. But you still enjoyed the class. Most of the work was completed at home – or for you, your dorm – and in class discussions was just about ways to improve your writings and explaining when the next projects were due. You spent most of your days in the class catching up on some sleep since it was an 8am class that lasted about an hour and a half long. Luckily, you sat in the back and the stage where the professor stood upon was at the very front and she couldn't see the back very well. Besides sleeping, sometimes you would chat with your friend and roommate, Chloe, but she made it a habit to only show up to the class only once a week despite the class meeting three times a week. You couldn't really blame her; you did beg her for weeks to sign up with the class for you. She only caved in when you promised her a date with your senior buddy, Namjoon.
There was something, however, that interested you during the class. At the beginning of the semester, your professor made the class create a blog that was to be kept up for the entire semester as it would lead to it being your final presentation and a big chunk of your final exam. She made it a requirement to follow some of your classmates to get to know them better so you guys could possibly make lifelong college friends. At first you scoffed at the idea. You knew it was just the professor's way of trying to get all the freshmen to not feel so alone on campus. Creative Writing was, in fact, what your college considered a "freshmen concentrated" class. However, after creating your blog and stalking through some of your classmates blogs, you found a couple the stood out to you. You only followed Chloe's blog though because she usually uploaded stories about her adventures of "Falling in Love with a Senior That Will Be Graduating Next Semester: The Sad Story of Chloe M." You had no clue how she was going to present her blog to the class at the end of the semester. Your blog was quite simple. It was mostly reposted pictures and videos of dancers and food. You couldn't decide if you wanted to become a professional dancer or a famous chef. So with that, you were an undeclared major.
One of the blogs that caught your attention though was a blog of what you were assuming was a male in your class. The blog was simply titled "Golden" and it was mostly a song recommendation blog. The guy recommended songs for his followers to listen to once a week and explained what each song meant to him and how he "wants to connect with his fans." At first you thought the guy was cocky because his description of himself said, "I'm the best at almost everything. I dance, sing, draw, and write. Even my music taste is amazing, right? I'm just golden. Look out for a new song rec every Wednesday!"
After listening to some of the songs he recommended, you couldn't help but be curious as to whom the guy was. The songs he recommended were so... relaxing. Sometimes they were depressing which made you wonder if the guy was emo or not. Either way, the blog had caught your attention and held it. You wanted to find out who the guy was in your class with the amazing blog but you weren't about to ask 199 students if they owned a blog titled, "Golden." You weren't that outgoing.
"So what happened in CW today?" Chloe asked as you walked into your small shared dorm room.
"I don't know. I was asleep... as usual," You shrugged as you tossed your book bag into your corner in the room and jumped onto your bed. Luckily, you didn't have another class until 2pm.
"How are we going to pass this class if you're always asleep and I'm never there?" Chloe asked as she got up from her bed and plopped herself onto the end of yours. You groaned as you tried to push her off with your foot.
"Well maybe if you showed up to keep me awake, we would pass."
"Yeah, that's not happening. Anyways, have you spoken to Namjoon lately?" She asked as she held onto your foot to prevent you from kicking her anymore. You didn't feel like struggling with her so you just let her hold your foot.
"Mhm... we're meeting for lunch today."
"Seriously?! Can I... tag along?" Her brown eyes grew twice the size of her face in excitement.
You sat up and looked at her. "Chloe, you have a 12pm class. We're getting lunch at 12."
She puffed out a cheek as she threw your foot aside. "Why do classes always get in the way of true love?"
"You literally saw him yesterday-"
"Sh! That's the next topic of my blog post."
"Chloe... you can't use that. We pick out our own class schedules-"
"Shush! It's a great post, Y/N, deal with it!" She said as she hopped off my bed and over to her backpack. "I'm going to the Starbucks before class. See you around dinner time!"
"See you..." You said as you plopped back down onto your pillow. You guess you would take a small nap before meeting up with Namjoon.

Namjoon was 2 years older than you. You guys had met on accident when you were a freshman and got lost on campus when trying to find the building with your class in it. He thought you were a cute freshman because when he spoke to you, you almost cried in relief to finally have someone who could help. Ever since then, Namjoon made sure it was a habit to keep a tab on you so you wouldn't get lost again. You just said it was his excuse for him to talk to you. He didn't deny it.
You were sitting in a small sandwich café just little off campus. It was Namjoon and you favorite place to grab lunch and to study together. Namjoon was always late when you guys decided to meet up, so you had bought your laptop along with you to keep you occupied until he arrived. The first thing you did was log onto your blog to check to see if Golden had blogged his song recommendation yet. Since you didn't know the guy's name, you just referred to him as Golden. Only Chloe knew about your fascination with his blog. You were too shy to tell Namjoon because he might get offended. He had often recommended for you to listen to some of his and his other friend's, Yoongi, raps but you always declined him because rap wasn't your favorite type of music. Golden had a music style that calmed you and made you feel light and fluffy inside. Simply put, it made you happy.
A smile appeared instantly on your face as you saw that Golden had indeed updated his blog. Without even stopping to read his description of why he recommended the song this week, you clicked on the link that led to YouTube. You were surprised to see a black screen in the video before the sound of guitars filled your ears. You instantly recognized the song as Lost Stars by Maroon5 but the voice singing the voice was what caught you off guard. Confused, you clicked back onto the blog to read the description.
This week's recommendation: Maroon 5 – Lost Stars
Don't actually expect to hear the voice of Adam Levine when you click the link. I know some of you have questioned what I sound like when I sing so I decided, hey, this blog is surprisingly becoming popular. Can't disappoint my fans, can I? So here you go! My cover of Lost Stars. I'm almost as good as Adam, huh? See you next Wednesday!
As Golden's voice filled your ears, you couldn't help but feel your heart skip a beat. He had an amazing voice. He really was almost as good as Adam. This guy had an incredible music taste and the voice of an angel. If only know you could see him dance, you would declare your small crush on the mysterious classmate blogger of yours. Golden made it a habit to not let anyone find out his identity until the day of the final exam. There were no pictures of him or mentions of his real name anywhere on his blog. He often received anonymous messages from his –as he calls them - "fans" that requested a selfie or even just asking what his name was but Golden just told them to wait on the day of the final. Not everyone who followed Golden's blog was in our Creative Writing class, so this upset a lot of them.
As the song began coming to an end and Golden's high notes filled your ears, you saw two tall figures walking towards your booth. You looked up and instantly recognized one as Namjoon but the other guy beside him was unfamiliar. He had a baby looking face that looked like it was on the verge of maturing. The beanie he was wearing caused his bangs to cover his eyes so you couldn't see them very well. You tilted your head curiously at Namjoon as he grinned at you. Pulling the earphones from your ears, you smiled slightly at Namjoon as he and the strange guy with him sat in front of you.
"Took you long enough, oppa..." You rolled your eyes as you shut your laptop shut.
"Sorry. It took me some time convincing this kid to come along with me."
"Oh... hi..." You said as you turned your attention over to the guy who was looking at the table instead of you.
"Hello..." he mumbled shyly under his breath.
"Don't mind him. I told him you were pretty and he didn't believe me until now and now he's ashamed," Namjoon laughed as he playfully patted the boy on his back. The guy looked up and what – you assumed – glared at Namjoon.
"Ah... well... hello! I'm Y/N!" You smiled warmly at the guy as he turned his attention to you. You noticed that his cheeks were slightly red which caused you to giggle slightly.
"I'm Jeon Jungkook... nice to meet you..."
