You know, I feel like Shadow has been hanging around Iggy for a long time, just feeding off him when his depression really went off. Didn't have to do any work on his new source of food. Yet than Francis got Iggy his pills which cut Shadow's food off. That's probably why he randomly showed up. He needed to get his food back.
