Minho or Newt? / imagine for Minhoisbae2015 :)

You watched Minho remove the sweat from his forehead. He held on to his waist and panted. You have been waiting for him, so that you could give him some water. You quickly ran to him and handed him the water bottle. He drank it all up.

He looked at you and smiled, "Hey, Katie! Thank you so much! I had run out of mine. I just-" you weren't able to hear anything else that he said.

You were too focused on looking at him as he talked. The way his lips moved and the way he'd smile after each word. Butterflies in your stomach every time you and him spoke.

"Katie? Katie!?" He waved.

"Huh? What?" You blushed.

He looked at you for a second before shaking his head and laughing, "I said how was your day?"

"Oh um I-yeah it was awesome!" You smiled.

"Really? That's great! Why?" He asked while smiling too.

"Oh okay! So Newt and I-" you continued to watch him and now he seemed uninterested, but you decided to go on, "we're working together today right? And he was leaning over to put down a bucket and he slips and falls on the mud!" You begin to laugh.

He couldn't help but laugh either. He didn't like the fact that you and Newt were so close but watching you laugh made him feel something within. He didn't tell you how he felt about you because he was sure you were into Newt. Newt. He stopped laughing.

"Oh, so I'm guessing Newt made your day awesome right? Newt always seems to make your days amazing." He rolls his eyes without meaning to.

"What do you mean? Of course he does he's an awesome friend who looks out for me." You say quietly.

"Doesn't look like that." He blurts. His eyes widen, "No, I just mean that um it looks like you're into each other. Dammit I mean it just looks like you like him not me. No, ugh I should really stop talking." He slams his palm onto his forehead.

"Should I like you?" You ask confidently.

He looks into your hazel eyes.

"No, you shouldn't, but I like you. So, maybe it's just me wishing that you'd like me back." He turned away. You were about to say something until you hear another voice.

"Katie! C'mon I've got to show you something." Newt yells from the lookout tower.

"Great." Minho says.

"Wait, Minho." You try to stop him. He turns around,

"Come then." You tilt your head and look at him sympathetically. You look back at Newt then at Minho once again.

He extends his arms and shakes his head, "Thought so." He begins to quickly walk away. You stand there for a few seconds. You sigh and run after him. You pass him then, stand in front of him and face him.

"Oh! What a miracle, you chose me over him." He looks away from you.

"Minho! I didn't get to say what I was going to. I don't like Newt! He's just a friend. But you want to know why I keep telling you that? Because I like you! Because I like your sassy remarks, because I like your goofy self, because I love the way your smile itself could make me feel something! Because I-" you didn't get to continue.

Minho held you from the shoulders and pushed you to him. He didn't waste another second, he was already kissing you. He let go of your shoulders and instead he cupped your cheeks pulling back any strands of your blonde hair. You felt  blood rush to your cheeks as you kissed back with the same force. Both his and your lips moving in synch.

When you finally stopped kissing you were out of breath. "Because I like you, Minho." You muttered.
