Author's Note: Some of the characters are part of the Hellaverse. During the story, you will encounter the human versions of Alastor, Vox, and Mimzy. I would like to remind you that these characters belong to Vivienne Medrano, and only the character of Elliot and his story are my own.

An illusion that was put on Alex to mask her female scent and make her appear male, may be the only thing that saves her from a much worse fate at the hands of the ruthless pirates. Only problem is, if she ever shifts, the illusion will break and reveal her true self. Is the fact she's female the real reason for keeping her identity hidden, or is it something with much worse consequences if ever brought to light? Which will be the lesser of two evils in the end: pirates or mad scientists?
