Meganebu: Yukiya Minabe x Reader

You were spending the day with your childhood friend (and long time crush) Yukiya. He was busy fixing the club's X-Ray glasses while you were reading a book. But the book's really close to your face.
"(Y/N)."
"What?"
"Is there something wrong with your eyes?"
"Nope." You lied. Truth be told, you were having a hard time reading because if your eye sight.
"Then... how many fingers am I holding?" He raised his finger/s but you could barely see his finger.
"Uhh.... Two!"
"Actually its three."
"..."
"Maybe you should get your eyes examined."
"E-Examined?"
"Yeah. I'll come with you if you want." And he sat next to you and ruffled your (length) (color) hair which made you smile.
"Fine fine. We'll go tomorrow. But Yukiya-kun?"
"Hm?"
"Can you... pick my frame?"
"Of course. What are friends for?"
"Y-yeah." You forced a smile.

The two of you continued on chatting but you had to go home. Yukiya only watched you walk to your house because it was just next to his. You waved at him and he waved back at you.

In your room, you fell on your bed and recalled this day. "Of course. What are friends for?" You sighed. "Friends huh? I guess he'll always see me as his friend." You sadly said and slept.

The next day you got up, took a bath and wrapped yourself with a towel and opened your closet. "Hmm... What to wear?" You mumbled. You decided to wear a cute white top with black polka dots, black skater skirt and a thin red belt. For your hair, you just combed it and only applied powder on your face. You grabbed your red sling bag and placed your wallet and phone there.

You went down and Yukiya was seated on the couch. You smiled at him and he smiled back and stood up. "Shall we?" He asks and opened the door for you. You smile and walked out. "We shall." You said and the two of you went to the eye doctor.

While waiting to be called, the two of you were looking at different frame styles. All of them were either in your liking or not. "Ms. (L/N) (F/N)?" The nurse called and the both of you followed the nurse to this room where there was a doctor. Yukiya sat on the side chairs while you sat in front of this camera-thingy while the doctor instructed you.

"All you have to do is place your chin here and look directly at this hole here OK?"
"Ok."
"It wont hurt. And your boyfriend is here to support you."

You blushed when he said that Yukiya's my boyfriend and he began examining my eyes. But come to think about it, he didn't react at all. After that, he led us to another room and there he made me sit on a chair and placed this huge pink round frames on you and there he began slipping in lenses and told me to say the letters out loud. He repeated the same thing with your other eye and he wrote down something and took of the round frame and the two of you left the room.

Yukiya pulled you to a glass cabinet and pointed at a certain frame. It was simple and it kinda looked like his own glasses. You smiled and the nurse took that frame and began putting the lenses in. After that she gave it to Yukiya and he looked at it. He slipped it on me and I blinked. He's so close to my face and my cheeks felt slightly hot.

"It suits her. And the two of you have matching glasses too." The nurse said.
"Well... How is it?"
"F-fine. I can see clearly now."
"Good." He smiled at you. The smile that made you fall for him.

After paying, the two of you walked to a field and sat under the tree. You smiled at the sight of the sunset.
"Ne Yukiya-kun?"
"Yes?"
"How come... you didn't react... when the doctor said that... you're my boyfriend?"
"Well... Its because I... I love (Y/N)." His cheeks turned pink while your eyes (which are wide open) looked at him.

He loves you? He grabbed your hand and continued. "We've been together for so long... and I don't like it when other guys ask you out." He said and you hugged him. "I love you too Yukiya-kun." You said. He wrapped his arms around you. He's hugging you.

The two of you pulled away and he placed a hand on your cheek. He leaned in and kissed you. You blinked, then closed your eyes and kissed him back.

I thought that he sees me as just his childhood friend... I guess I was wrong.

The two of you broke from the kiss and looked at each other. "Does this mean... were a couple?" He asked and you nod.

The two of you watched the sunset, you leaning on his chest and Yukiya's arms wrapped around your waist.

I'm sorry that Yukiya became OOC and this is based from my own experience whenever I get my eyes checked...
