Fairy Tail: Midnight x Emo!Reader

8th request and again, I am so so sorry cause I can't remember who requested this. *bows*

"I can feel her magic."
"Jesus she is scary."
"And her powers are deadly."
"Better stay away from her."

You all heard those voices from the villagers as you walk down the road. It was your power that scares them. You have the power over the dead, meaning you can controll the dead and make them do whatever you want and if yiu are controlling a mage, then you can also make the body (of the mage) use their power. And you can attack people and mist of them would feel like they're almost dying but they all lived. Plus you can communicate with the dead but that only happens once every 5 years.

That and you being dressed in all (dominant) black and white clothes, pale skin, dark (colour) hair and dark nails... And you got the title 'Black Queen of the Dead' (A/N: sorry if it sounds crappy) and is always left alone.

You are a member of the guild (guild name) and most of them would avoid you because of your powers. But you do have a few friends there and the guild master treats you like your his daughter.
"Hey she's back."
"Well duh she's an S-Class mage."
"The strongest of all S-Class mages."

You nodded at your twin friends, Yamazaki and Natsuki. Both were children of the guild master and were only 8 years old.

"Welcome back (name)!" - both
"So how was the job?" - Yamazaki
"The usual. Easy and quick."
"Wow that's amazing! Ne ne (name)-nee?" - Natsuki
"What?"
"Can you come with us to the cemetary?" - both
"But... (GM male name) said..." GM = guild master
"Its alright (name)." - (GM name)
"(GM Name)?!"
"Papa!" - both
"They want to talk to their mother. I told them about your power."
"Please." - Natsuki
"We wanna see and hear her." - Yamazaki.
"I know you do but the next time I can call her would be around the next 5 years."
"We'll wait." - both
"So please (name)?" - both
"Sure sure we'll go."
"Really?! - Yamazaki
"Is that a promise?" - Natsuki
"Hai hai but first..."
"What?" - both
"Let me rest and go on one more job ok?"
"Hai hai." - both

Even though the twins would play with you, the fact that you always felt lonely and you always felt alone.

One day you were walking, or rather limping, somewhere in the forest. You just finished a job but it injured you and you have a bloody wound on your leg, some cuts and bruises on your arms and a huge cut on your cheek.

You stopped and leaned down a tree. You stayed there and looked at the stars on the sky. Pretty...

You heard some rustling and foot steps and you just stayed there and did nothing. You felt the presence of a mage and when you turned around it was a man.

"Midnight."
"Long time no see (name)."

Midnight and you met on that wretched island long ago when you were forced to work and would be punished if you disobeyed. He had troubles in sleeping and you would let him put his head on your lap and you would help him sleep. When he was taken away, you were sad and all alone once more but you managed to escape from the island and started a new life.

You heard news about him in the past but that doesn't change who he is to you. In fact you would visit him in his prison cell as frequent as you can.

He saw your body condition and knelt down.
"What happened?"
"Job request. I got clumsy."

He threw a small green ball on the ground and it exploded and gas appeared. You coughed and when the gas disappeared, your wounds disappeared but you couldn't move your legs.

Midnight sat next to you and wrapped his arms around you. You were startled. The last time someone around yyour age hugged you was.... well you couldn't remember. The only ones who hugged you were the twins but they were kids and so it was alright to you.

"M-Midnight..?"
"I missed you (name)."

You didn't say anything and was just shocked. Did you miss him? Of course you did! He was gone for 7 months!

He broke from the hug and laid on your lap. You looked at his eyes and he tucked away some hair behind your ear.

"Its a lovely night (name)."
"Y... Yeah it is."

You looked up. The dark midnight blue sky was full of twinkling stars, the big slow clouds miving across the sky and the moon ever so bright. The wind blew and it has a cool gentle breeze. You began combing his hair but you didn't notice him looking at you.

"(Name)?"
"Yeah?"
"Sing."
"Why?"
"Can't sleep."

You smiled a little and nodded. He still has this side of him... Adorable.

You took a deep breath and began humming and started singing.

What the others dont know is that you have an amazing voice and only Midnight has heard you sing.

MIDNIGHT'S POV
(name) has a lovely voice and only I can hear it. Only me and me alone.

She begins humming and I cast an illusion to make her see me asleep while I stand up and sit next to her.

"You should take care of yourself more baka."

She leaned and (unknowingly) placed her head on my shoulder and began singing.

You closed your eyes and dozed off... The illusions gone and I smiled and entertwined our hands and placed a kiss on your forehead. "You always fall asleep before you finish the song."
