A/N: Absolutely massive chapter here you guys. Biggest chapter I have ever written and probably ever will. Because of that, I expect lots of comments please as that is what motivates me to write. Without a good amount of comments, I hardly feel inspired to continue the story at all and that's what leads to slow updates.
Next chapter will be the 100th update to this story. Because of this, I'm going to do something special...
I am going to (potentially) allow you all to help shape the next chapter and what happens between Celina and Bill. Comment at the end what you want to happen between the two of them in the near or distant future of the book. If I get enough comments then I plan on possibly going with what the majority of you want to happen/think will happen.
Ok... lets get on with the near 8k word chapter!
Disclaimer: I do not own RDR or anything associated with it.
.................
Celina followed John into the room which the two of them were set to share for the night. She had a smirk on her face which told the former outlaw that she was up to no good. He turned on his heel to face her as the door to the room shut, "What are you smiling about?"
Celina chuckled and shook her head, "You like her." She pointed a teasing finger his way, "You really like her."
John scoffed at that and shook his head, going over to his side of the two bed room and changing out of his shirt and pants and into pajamas the McFarlane's had given him, leaving his underwear on of course. Celina didn't bother to divert her gaze, unaffected by the situation. John finished tugging on his clean shirt, "There should be some clothes you can wear in that dresser," he pointed across the room.
"Ok," she approached the dresser and rummaged through it to find a long nightgown, "But you have to turn your back."
"Of course, my lady." John turned his back to her dramatically, giving her all the privacy she asked for.
Celina couldn't help but laugh and roll her eyes at him being dramatic. She quickly stripped to her underwear before pulling on the nightgown. "Ok," she spoke as she adjusted it to come down past her knees, "You can look."
John turned back around, unaffected himself in seeing her in her night clothes, "It's nice living in a house again for you, isn't it?"
"Well, technically I've still got the ranch."
"But you've been sleeping in the dirt with Dutch or in Fort Mercer with Bill."
She shrugged, "Dutch has got a tent and Bill a roof somewhat. I'm used to it." She turned the conversation back to what it was that she wanted to talk about, "So you and Bonnie, huh? When I played Red Dead I always thought that the two of you would be quite a couple."
John groaned in protest, "You know, sometimes I wish that those damn games didn't exist."
Celina laughed at his comment, a smile lingering on her face for a good long moment, "Well I'm glad that they did. If they didn't, then the lot of you wouldn't have gotten my attention and you would all end up dead."
John took a pack of cigarettes off the dresser and took one from it before tossing them to her. He spoke, "We're all going to end up dead in the end, miss Knoll."
Celina rolled her eyes at him, still with a small smirk as she took a cigarette for herself, "I've missed you, John. I just wish we could stop the arguing."
"Well," John crossed his arms and stuck his cigarette between his lips before lighting it, "Then I suggest you stop pissing me off." His tone was serious but his eyes sparked with humor as he took a drag and tossed the lighter to Celina.
