Story Description
Long before heroes, quirks, and the shining age of professional hero society, the world was very different. In the distant past of the My Hero Academia universe, there existed a harsh and lawless era filled with outlaws, gunslingers, and fading ideals of freedom. That forgotten era is none other than the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.
One quiet morning at U.A. High School, the brilliant principal Nezu discovers something strange sitting on his desk: a mysterious wooden box that no one remembers placing there.
Taped to the lid is a single note written in neat handwriting:
"Inside this box is a window to the past... the past of your universe."
Curiosity quickly spreads across the school. Nezu gathers the teachers and Class 1-A to his office, including the aspiring hero Izuku Midoriya and his cheerful girlfriend Toru Hagakure, who-through a strange phenomenon connected to the box-appears visible, revealing her bright green eyes and blonde-green hair for the first time.
With everyone watching closely, Nezu slowly opens the mysterious box.
Inside, a glowing screen flickers to life.
Instead of showing the future, it reveals a brutal and untamed past-dusty towns, horseback riders, revolvers, and the struggle of people trying to survive in a world without heroes or quirks.
The students witness the tragic journey of gunslinger Arthur Morgan and the outlaw family known as the Van der Linde Gang-a group fighting against a world that is rapidly leaving them behind.
As the story unfolds:
• Izuku analyzes Arthur's fighting skills and moral choices like a true hero student.
• Bakugo is stunned by the explosive gunfights and raw brutality.
• Toru becomes fascinated by the wild freedom of the frontier.
• All Might quietly reflects on what heroism meant in a time before heroes even existed.
But the deeper they watch, the more the truth becomes clear.
The outlaw era wasn't just another world.
