3rd PERSON'S POV
Mark sighs as he looks down at his phone with a little frown.
He throws his phone on the table leaning back into his seat while his friends laugh and drink around him.
He was having a good time earlier, seeing his college friends, the smell of meat on the grill, the cold but bearable October air as they all sat in the backyard of his best friend Jinyoung's house but now he felt a little down.
He's been making moves, leaving hints, was he not doing enough to show his interest in you?
Jinyoung laughs while pouring himself another drink before he catches Mark sulking in his corner.
"Y/N didn't answer?" he asks and all the other guys stop what they're doing and turn to look at Mark who shoves his hands into the pockets of his bomber jacket.
"Nah she must be busy" he says avoiding their eyes.
"She's been busy a lot lately" Sehun mumbles while he brings his drink to his lips. Mark looks at him and throws his head back, it was exactly what he was thinking, you've been busy a lot lately and he didn't know why.
All his friends knew who you were, you had hung out with them plenty of times and maybe if you had replied you would've been here with him.
Of course he's noticed the tension at work whenever those guys walked in and he wanted to believe you would never be attracted to guys like that but he could see it in your eyes, in your behavior that they seemed to poke your interest.
Last night he had noticed you talking with one of them at the bar, he didn't want to interrupt because you both looked a little too friendly.
"Don't tease him" Suho says while grilling the meat in front of him, he squints his eyes from the smoke.
"He's already buried" he adds and Sehun snorts "I thought we weren't teasing him" Kai says walking in with more drinks.
"You're so whipped it hurts" Sehun mumbles.
Mark groans shutting his eyes "stop it guys" Jinyoung says and pats Marks knees.
"C'mon hyung, have a drink and forget about it" Jinyoung says and Mark sighs before nodding and sitting up as Jinyoung pours him a drink.
"When's Youngjae coming in with his brother?" Kai asks walking over to Suho who keeps jumping back whenever he places a new set of meat onto the grill.
"Any moment now" Sehun replies checking his watch.
