All evening you worked around the bar absentmindedly.
You couldn't stop thinking about Taehyung's drop by earlier, he literally took time in his day to come by and start a new leaf with you but why?
What happened between you wasn't really that much of a big deal.
You weren't the type to dwell on things but this just poked your interest, sure, he was a jerk last night but you had ruined his really expensive Gucci shirt, and sure he kept throwing glares your way but you had called him an idiot, oh and yes he had mocked your height but you were short...
You groan shaking your head, what was wrong with you?
You didn't leave one player just to fall into the arms of another one, not that you plan on falling into Taehyung's arms but still...
All of this thinking was honestly hurting your head, you didn't know what to think, everything was much easier when you thought he was at fault but now that you realized you had your part of play in the misunderstanding you were starting to see him differently.
"Earth to Y/N"
"hmn" you reply without really paying attention to who it is
You feel a smack on your hip and jump bumping into the counter, surprised.
You turn only to see Rosé staring at you with a frown.
"what?" you ask and she raises an eyebrow at you.
"you've been drying the same empty glass for the past 15 minutes, what's going on?" she asks and you sigh placing down the empty glass.
"nothing" you mutter.
"Are you acting this way because of that asshole?" she asks and you turn to her surprised.
"how did you know?" you ask and she scoffs.
"I knew him stopping by this morning would make you like this" she says shaking her head and you continue to stare at her.
"how did you know about that?" you ask and she looks at you as if it wasn't obvious.
"you really liked that idiot and even though I know you'll never get back together with him seeing him must've been hard" she says and it takes you a moment to realize she 's talking about Jackson.
"Oh I wasn't thinking about him" you say casually and this time it's her turn to be surprised.
"you're not like this because of Jackson?" she asks and you shake your head.
