Overwhelmed with excitement to go back home to my family, I forgot about one thing, my daughter. What do I tell Lily once I see her? She will no doubt be angry that I left her.

"Do I detect a little bit of sadness Zina?" Andrew asked.

"I'm worried about how how my daughter will react once I go back, she can be a handful most of the time." I told him.

"Lily is but a child, do not worry about her, you are her mother, and a child's love for a parent is endless and unconditional. Concentrate on your relationship with Gabriel. You left him, and he probably has many questions he wants answered." His voice was gentle and caring. He will make a good match with Mary, she too, is caring.

"What should I say to him, I'm afraid he will be angry with me when he sees me." I told him, and suddenly I knew in my heart that it was not his fault, but mine for over reacting.

With a sinking heart, I dropped my face in my hands and wept, and Andrew drew me into his strong muscled arms and hugged me.

"Gabriel will not take long to come to his senses Zina, he is probably missing you with a passion, and will be relieved that you came back." Andrew said, in a rich and deep voice.

"Mary is a very lucky woman to have you as a soulmate!" I told him, and meant every word.

"When are you going to go?" He asked eagerly, wanting to see Mary as soon as he could.

"Now. I think I should just go now, and take care of my relationship with Gabriel before he hardens his heart against me." I told him.

"When will you talk to Mary? I'm going to die from excitement!" He said anxiously.

"As soon as I fix my relationship with Gabriel, I will talk to Mary, but Andrew, she doesn't remember you, and it will be hard to convince her to drop everything, and come back to America with me. I will have to think of something good to tell her, and hopefully she will be convinced, and we can be here by the end of the week." I said, and watched the excitement in his beautiful eyes, as they sparkled with love for his soulmate.

Missing Gabriel more than ever, I jumped off the couch and prepared myself to go home. I hugged Andrew, and zapped myself back in time to Scotland.

"There you are mama!" Lily said, as she marched in the middle of the courtyard, and stopped right in front of me, looking up at me angrily, she pointed a finger a me, "You left us!" She said, and her little lips trembled, as she held back her tears. "We are all mad at you! Daddy said that you were hurt, and needed time alone, but when I'm hurt I don't leave the people I love!" She said, and my heart twisted with pain at her words. "Go find daddy and make it up to him, take away his pain and suffering that you have caused him, or else I will never speak to you again!"

I watched her turn her back to me and walk away, and I knew that she was right. I looked around the courtyard at all the onlookers, and did not see Gabriel in the crowd. Where might he be?

My father walked up to me, and gave me a much needed hug. "Welcome back princess," he said, "Gabriel is in your chambers, go find him and show him you care, because your absence was hard on him. You saw the effect it had on Lily, she didn't take it quite well, and neither did Gabriel. You need to go fix things before things get out of hand."

I sighed and walked away from him, and headed towards the castle. Everyone I passed shook their head at me, letting me know they disapproved of the way I handled things. As I walked up the stairs, my heart hammered against my chest. I have missed Gabriel so much that it hurts.

I placed my hand on the handle, and pushed open the door to my chambers, and found Gabriel standing by the window with his back to me. I wanted to run to him, but instead, I called out his name softly.

"Gabriel," but he did not turn around. I waited a few minutes, and called out his name again, but still no response.

Thank you for all your support. It means the world to me. :) Xoxoxxoxoxxoxxo
