BTS Pregnancy Series (Hyung Line)

Picking Names

Jin:

You and Jin have been trying to pick a name for your baby boy for a week now. Every name you liked he wasn't fond of and every name he like you weren't all too happy with, either. You couldn't figure the first name.

"I've got it!" Jin exclaimed walking into the kitchen with a baby names book in hand.

"And what do you have?" You questioned, fully expecting to hate the name like the many he had suggested before.

"Haneul!" You opened your mouth to object immediately, but stopped. You had seen that name a few times while doing searches of your own, but you never thought Jin would like the name.

"Kim Hanuel. It does have a nice ring to it. " You admitted.

"So is that it? Is that our little boy's name?" Jin asked walking around the island to place his hands on your hips. You nodded your head enthusiastically, smiling up at him.

"That's it!" Jin kneeled down in front of you and placed his lips on your stomach.

"We can't wait to meet you, Kim Haneul."

Haneul means 'Heavenly' 

Yoongi:

Ever since you found out that Baby Min was a boy, you and Yoongi couldn't stop bouncing names off of each other. It was driving you both insane. Naming your baby was one of the first things, and probably one of the most important, things that you were going to do as a parent and you didn't want to mess it up. He would be stuck with the name for the rest of his life and you didn't want him to hate it or for him to get made fun of it once he started school. 

It was eating you alive on the inside. So far all the names you had bounced off of each other hadn't stuck, none of them seemed right. None of them seemed to be just right for your baby boy, and his name had to be just right. Various members of the crew and the boys gave you name suggestions as well, but none of those were sticking either. It was really starting to get to you that you couldn't think of anything yet. The only thing you knew was that once you knew what it would be, you would just know. You would feel it in your gut, and Yoongi would too. You would just know that it was the right name for your baby boy.

"Yoongi this is seriously starting to bother me!" You said after a show one night. Based on the look on his face you could tell that he had been thinking about it the entire show, and hadn't come up with anything new either. You were starting to run out of options. 

"Yoongi our baby boy needs a name!" 

"I know he does Y/N! I just don't want to mess it up. This is the first thing we're deciding as parents!"  Yoongi had his head in his hands and so did you. That's when the idea came to you. 

"Yoongs?" 

"Yes jagi?" 

"We both have lists right?" He nodded, waiting for you to explain the idea you had.
